Since I have spent my entire life in Cyprus, I have a deep love and intimate knowledge of this country that I want to share with everyone who visits. I want you to experience more than just the architecture and geography of this beautiful island. I want you to touch the ancient stones of the Salamis ruins, inhale the aroma of the night-time jasmine near Nicosia and taste the home-cooked meze at my favourite taverna near Lefkara. My tours are designed to bring together all your senses so that your time in Cyprus will be etched in your memory forever. I pride myself on my knowledge of the island since I experienced it first hand in growing up here, then studied history, art, culture, mythology, geography and religion at the School of Tour Guides and University of Cyprus where I trained to be a tour guide. I learned about archaeology from individuals who excavated Cyprus, studied handicrafts with local artists and talked with researchers of medieval clothing - all of whom passed on a wealth of first hand knowledge about this country. I've been a tour guide in Cyprus since 1996 and have also worked as a radio announcer and talk show host, hotel front desk manager and manager of a wine boutique. I speak fluent English, Swedish and Greek (with some knowledge of Norwegian) and am happiest when I'm putting together personalized tours that will incorporate all you want to know, see and do in this country. My intent is to take you where Cypriots go. Eat what Cypriots eat. Learn about Cypriot culture and spend time with Cypriot people. See you soon, at my tours. Warmest regards, Marios Georgiou, MBA
We would like to warmly recommend Marios Georgiou´s guidance. He took us on a brillant day-trip to the North of Cyprus on a sunny day. St. Hilarion, Kyrenia and Bellapais where we had a light lunch, perfectly matching the summer weather . This beach was ideal for my trip as it was near to my hotel. It had sunbeds if required also an area where you could use a beach mat/towels. It was ideal for families and safe for children. There were cafes and bars available for drinks and snacks along the seafront.

Pottery Workshop
Such a pleasant experience... We arrived and asked if we could have a go at trying some pottery and the guy dropped what he was doing and got us started straight away. He helped us to not create a complete disaster. We got to purchase the pots too which needed to be collected a week later. The cost was a lovely surprise too as i was willing to pay more than expected. We finished with tea and homemade breads. Thankyou for a great experience.

Comfortable trek through the pine Forests and herd of goats. The higher you walk, the more amazing the views below are becoming. On the very top of the hill don't miss the white cliffs (they are located north-west a bit off the trek) from which you can get one of the most breathtaking views over the Arnautis cape. It's just amazing! It took us around 4 hours with the kids in slow pace including a picnic break on the top of the hill. It seems that the best time for the trail is winter, when the sun is not that hot. In good weather with clear air, the southern shore of Turkey becomes visible from this point.

Kokomo is a music bar in Larnaca since 1990. We offer trendy music with a warm atmosphere. We have a friendly bar staff who are always happy to help and a DJ who plays songs of your choice. The bar has 12 LCD TVs showing all major Cypriot and European football matches and other sporting events. We have two billiards to play with your friends. We also have an outdoor area for the sunny and hot days. There is a customer car park behind the bar which is free for the customers
Great bar, great staff , even better drinks!! We loved sharing a sisha pipe every night in the Kokomo. Play all football matches too .
