Located in the heart of downtown Slagelse, you'll find this restaurant clean, quiet, and friendly. The service is great, the servers are friendly, and prices, for Denmark, are very reasonable.
Not to be overlooked, however, is the great tasting food! All food is prepared to order. Fresh. Hot. Palate-pleasers!
No regrets with this eating establishment. We'll return often.

A la Carte Restaurant in Skaelskoer harbor. We have approx 60 seats indoor and 150 seats outdoor. Our outdoor seats is right by the water, and we have one Terrace right in the water. If you only want to drink a cop of coffee/the you are also very welcome. In the summertime we have Jazz every saturday from 11,00 - 14,00 if the weather alloys it. The jazz is free of charge.
Solsikken, Danish for 'Sunflower', is located at the harbour in Skaelskoer, an easy ten-minute trip off the motorway when heading towards Copenhagen. Take the first exit off the bridge that connects the island of Fyn and Sjælland, home of Hans Christian Andersen. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and the service was friendly. Even the locals dining at a nearby table were friendly, greeting us when we arrived and when they left. Two at our three-top ordered typical Danish lunches: a fish plate with chicken salad and a near tartar with pom frittes; surprised to see 'Chicken Nachos' on the menu, a very unDanish menu item, I took a chance and they were fantastic! Two teenagers, obviously local ordered them, so it seems this quasi-healthy junk food lunch has gone global! No surprise that the salsa was mild and the jalapeno peppers were served as a side!
This is obviously the local hangout for football, the 'give away' the huge Television at the bar! This is now a bookmark on the GPS!

I was part of a pre-booked party of eight that ate here while working in Korsor. It is a delightful little restaurant with great atmosphere and superb food. In a town with very little choice when it comes to places to eat, Restaurant Madam Bagger doesn't need to try hard to stand out - but to their credit it still does. Highly recommend!

buffet, which has allways been updated with fresh food, the several times, we have visited this restaurant.
Very nice for kids, both young and older/teenagers. The food is what you will expect for a restaurant in this categori - and a better one compared with others.
Serves a very good soup(which is the reason for me to choose this place) and have a lot of meat and fish for frying/BBQ (which is why my kids choose this place)
Fair price, since the buffet is both starter (soup), buffet, dessert (icecream-buffet) and coffee

We went for lunch having read some pretty nice reviews and we were not disappointed. Nothing special, just a hamburger with bacon and fries. However the meat was a good quality and it was NOT overdone.

Our kitchen is open all year round. We have a varied menucard, and a wide array of menu suggestions for your party. If you have special requests, we will do our best to fulfill your dreams. Visit our website for additional information - ONLY DANISH.
Food is okey and the service is very friendly. They could lift the standard with a bit more effort in the kitchen: the last original touch.
If you announce Tapas on the menu you should stay away from the Danish hotel concept of tapas. Its not tapas. Go Spanish and make it more original. The dishes on the menu should be perfect. So a bit more practice on those.
The menu and the kitchen is above average - but still some improvements needed considering the location and clientele.

This place serve local italian dishes to-go. I's run by Italians, and they know their stuff. It's only food to-go, so don't expect to sit down.

We went here for lunch one day as we fancied something different and my wife really enjoyed the choice of salads. I of course still tried their chilli burger which was I must say was excellent. Very tasty and spicy.
We had a little trouble at first trying to work out how things worked as the young lady serving didn't have much english but a customer was very helpful and we all muddled along.
the owner came later and spoke very good english great service overall and free wifi. Would recommend
