We offer tours for all levels of mountain bike riders. Our half, full-day or tailored excursions are an ideal way to experience the outskirts of Bogota city from a different perspective. Learn about Colombia’s people, it’s rich natural resources, and it’s tumultuous history while riding through some of the most incredible scenery.
I have been on several outings with Nomads and my experience with the group has been superb. There are routes for bikers of all levels, from beginners on their first outing to hardened experts. As a foreigner living in Colombia, it was wonderful to find a group of people - foreigners and locals alike - who enjoy biking and exploring the outdoors like I do.
I've been extremely impressed by the guides. They are friendly, organized, very knowledgeable about routes, safety and local surroundings, and take great care to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible. They are multilingual and rent top quality mountain bikes and helmets for the day if you need them.
Nomads gives everyone the chance to get to know Colombia’s incredible mountainous landscapes by bike. Wonderful for a day trip if you’re just in Bogotá for a few days or weekly outings if you’re planning to be here longer. Highly recommended!

This lake is where the legend of El Dorado originated.
Unforgettable, 3100 m high this lake is something incredible.
It is a proof that God exists and create unbelievable things!
If you are in Bogota you must see.
The roads to get there are terrible, but once you see the lake, you will forget about anything else

A world of culture and amusement in one single place. Located in Tocancipa just 30 min from Bogota, is one of the best parks in Latin America. The attractions include various museums, a beautiful zoo, amusement rides, excellent restaurants, etc. The park belongs to a Foundation, profits are donated to charity and conservation programs of colombian species.
Beautiful landscaped, maintained with excellent detail and cleanliness, Parque Jaime Duque's theme is the travels and interests of its founder. The park is a collection of cultural, artistic, and natural themes from all around the world focusing on the Jaime Duque's career as a pilot for Avianca. There is an limited, but growing zoo with primarily Colombian and some other distinctive wildlife. Unlike American theme parks, the rides are relatively unspectacular, but still well-suited for young children primarily. The restaurant we visited was clean, reasonable and the food was well prepared. Attendants were friendly and obviously hard-working...focused on child safety on the rides and attraction areas. The replica Taj Mahal is the most obvious feature and is a beautiful structure. Inside is a cyclorama with 3-D dioramas explaining Colombian history. The entire park's education theme is the importance of caring for the environment. Many rare and near extinct Colombian flora is represented and the park beyond the developed area is considered a preserve. Good for families with young children and others who like beautiful grounds, Colombian themes, and is a good place to get away from the City yet still have some of its benefits. Probably not the best for active teens if they are looking for exciting rides and thrills.

The Salt Mine Nemocón with over 500 years of history underground is an attraction of Colombia in South America, imposing building at 80 meters deep. Mining tunnels descending the mountain bearing the visitors begin their journey through this amazing construction that will take you to the House of mirrors natural brine, salt cascade over 80 years old and the Fountain or wishing well, which they are some of the magical places to discover. In the chamber of the Chapel with its enormous sphere carved in rock salt 1300 kilos symbolizing the world's mining tradition is revived, wedding vows, thanksgivings miners, drivers and devotees of the Virgen del Carmen are renewed. In hunch camera or the lovers I surprised with the salt crystal only 1,600 kilos in the world, carved in the shape of heart.
We went for one day trip and was enough to enjoy thesalt mine and the small town in Nemocón. The mine can privide you safe helment and all the instruction to take care of you inside the mine.the guide Nelly is veeery good and all the time with happy face explaining this wonder! I will advice this mine better than Zipaquirá! Keep doing well.

We made the trip up here while staying at Jardin Calibri and had an incredible time. My wife and son were the ones who did the flying and both landed with the biggest smiles I have ever seen on their faces. Incredibly professional, both instructors...MoreThank you very much for your visit, we will be very happy to see you again flying in the clouds with us in Parapente Paraíso.

Children are free. We used a guide from the entrance to show us around. He asked only for a donation for his time. This was really helpful as he took us down paths we wouldn't have otherwise walked on. The guide was full of useful information about the plants, birds and local folk tales about the area. Sadly he only spoke in Spanish so our friend needed to translate into English. You can walk to the park but it takes two hours up a very steep road. A taxi from the town costs 15000 pesos. Remember to take the taxi driver's telephone number and he'll come back later to pick you up. There is a camping site in the park if you're interested.
