Arrived at 8pm, whilst other restaurants were completely empty, this one already had more than half the tables busy! So make sure that you book. Lovely to sit outside in a quiet side street in the centre of the old town, very atmospheric. (Epecially as on Friday nights in July and August there is a street market when all the shops are open and people promenading until after midnight. There was an accordion player at the end of the road, brilliant!) Service was not speedy, but relaxed and appropriate to a leisurely meal. The waiting staff were helpful and patient. Super grilled fish, we had the fish of the day, sea bream, priced by weight and they brought a platter of the fresh fish out for us to choose which one we wanted. Good well priced Sardinian wine, Giba red and white (which we have since bought in the local supermarket as we liked it so much. Very strong and fruity! 15%!) Delicious perfectly cooked pasta, the prawn and pesto variant had plentiful and large juicy prawns it. Coconut and tiramisu desserts were light and creamy. Would recommend for a relaxed meal with good food, would definitely eat here again.

The location is its strength and biggest asset, just in front of the Cattedrale di Santa Chiara, the view couldn't be better in Iglesias, especially during sunset.
The restaurant has a sort of uptight look and feel and it is reflected on the waiters as well (who walks a bit stiff-like).
The menu has a aura of tourist trap over, but the food is actually very tasty and high quality ingredients. House wine was a let down though, no after taste and too alcoholic in mouth, feels it needs mature for few month more.
Service is okey, nothing to be complained about. Except we paid cover charge of €2/pp and received...nothing at all, no bread, no olives nothing.

This pizza restaurant is a short walk from the centre of Iglesias so despite the rave reviews on this esteemed site as we approached it I was beginning to wonder just how busy it would be on a midweek evening in September. Turned out it was packed. And it's a pretty big place! There were families, couples, groups of teenagers, old ladies... you name it, they were here! Mostly locals. In fact in seems to be something of a local institution. But was it any good? Well, the pizzas are pretty decent but not to die for. There's a huge list to choose from but closer examination reveals there are lots of variations on a theme so it's not as intimidating as it looks. If you can't find something you fancy you can order off menu as my lovely wife did. Two pizzas and one large beer to share came in at just €20. Good pizza, good value but doesn't really warrant it's number one ranking.

The Zenith Restaurant and pizzeria in the heart of the town of Iglesias is the point of reference for those seeking the genuine flavors of the Sardinian tradition. Our cuisine proposes daily dishes based on local ingredients such as the first of fregola, handmade pasta in the pasta factories of the area, or as the fresh fish bought in the morning in the market of trust. And for those who love meat, there are cuts selected seared on the plate or grilled, from the Irish beef fillet to the entrecote of Angus, passing through the horse meat.
We couldn't ask for more. Haunted the place nearly everyday for wifi and was always gracefully greeted. When it came to ordering food, the quality was up to par with the friendly service. Will be back if ever around again.
Zenith is in the medieval center, near the main plaza (Piazza Sella) so the location is also perfect.

It was an older couple we met on the street who recommended us this restaurant, after we asked where can we find their typical Sarda cuisine, they were so kind to walk us several street to this hidden gem. We tried the typical Sarda cuisine which were the assortment of salami, cheese, calamari, and their variety of meat from the grill. Just. E sure you are very hungry because their portion of pizza is huge. I also tried their tomato broth intestines, really good. Highly recommend and the price was fair.

The views over the sea are spectacular . The food is distinctly average and the cover charge is a bit off .Worth a visit for the views , but don't expect to be wowed by anything else.

Nice variety on the menu (oh, except we're out of....) but the food, while quite edible, is unremarkable. I had a bready pizza, but the Orata (fish) was well-cooked (if only somewhat flavorful). They had some drinks (but we're out of...)
...I'll give them a tiny bit of room, seeing as it was St. Patricks Day and we came before the big crowds...but the service was insanely slow for being empty...
Out of the way.

In the elegant Restaurant, with its wide veranda and panoramic Terrace overlooking the garden and the pool, we serve homemade and imaginative Sardinian specialties. We offer dishes based on fresh fish and local genuine meats: typical Sardinian dishes in a modern key, along with the best Italian cuisine, as well as light dishes or vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free (reservation required). The evocative atmosphere and attentive and discrete service make the restaurant an intimate and at the same time the perfect place to celebrate Weddings, Birthdays, Graduations and other special occasions. In the same location of the Restaurant is also a popular Pizzeria, characterized by a delicious dough yeast.
Food lovely and well presented -napkins and tablecloths - hotel traditional inside but yet very modern - we stayed 2 nights. 3km south of Iglesias. Bit difficult to find but explained this on hotel review. Wine list good. They also do pizzas. We had pizzas one night and a proper 3 course meal the other night - would definitely return - very good meal and for us the food was almost as good as the no 1 restaurant on trip advisor for this area where we had gone one day for lunch.

Exclusive beach club in the most romantic bay of the miners coast. Warung beach club is located in Masua (sardinia) in front of the famous Pan di Zucchero
The guide was very good, and brought us to Porto Flavia and Pan di Zucchero. He spoke English, Italian and French (at least). Wonderful place to visit! The bar at the beach is also good and offers refreshments and ice creams :)
