Mac Mac Falls

The Mac Mac falls is nicely located between Sabie and Graskop.
It is very easy to park close to the falls just off of the R532.
The falls are worth visiting but are not as spectacular as some of the others in the area. The viewing area provides you with a good view of looking down on the falls - the only sad part is the fence at the viewing area is about 2m tall.

Views to die for! Absolutely fabulous but like any scenic view, needs to be a clear day. Try to arrive early, as it becomes very popular with tour buses during the day.

The Pinnacle Rock

Reviewed By Des1963 - Johannesburg, South Africa

The Pinnacle Rock is on the road to God's Window. It's a freestanding buttress of rock rising vertically out of the surrounding indigenous forest, making it look like a natural skyscraper. There are viewing decks giving you a different perspective of the rock. It's usually R10 per car, but I guess because it was festive season, we got charged per person and didn't get a receipt. It was 10 minutes before closing time so I wasn't in the mood to fight about it. I wanted to show my 10yr old son another one of the Lowveld's wonders of nature.

The Big Swing

Large zip line across the waterfall but a deep bungee type jump from the top of the waterfall to the bottom and then you swing at the bottom.
Takes your breath away.
But the structure leaves much to be desired. Take a closer look at the nuts and bolts holding the structure up.. not the industrial type.
Jump at own risk.

It was pouring with rain on our visit. We still had the most enlightening tour. What wonderful staff, all of them. We had kids along and they were just stunned with all the info and turning of the wheel to unwind a cocoon. Well worth the visit and certainly need to commend the all the staff for their hearty welcome and pleasant behaviours on our visit. Wish I could buy more of the silks. Well done

Gorge Swing

Reviewed By KarenRoos - Bunbury, Western Australia, Australia

Whilst jumping forward in bungee, this activity has you stepping backwards which is terrifying in comparison. Not too expensive. We did find it was not well organised; we had booked through an agent and was told the price was higher. We booked a time slot, only when we arrived timeously, had to wait in a queue for over an hour for people who just came off the street. The owners were not accommodating or too friendly but more interested in payments. But the staff on the jump deck were great and made the activity worth it, thanks guys! There is a walk up the gorge (270+ steps) to climb after the jump, so be prepared.
