Pretoria is a vision of purple, thanks to its plethora of blossoming trees that gave the South African metropolis its nickname: Jacaranda City. Give in to the animal magnetism of the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa, then get up close and personal with the big, bad kitties of the Cheetah Research and Breeding Centre. The buildings of Pretoria reflect diverse architectural styles and influences, creating a unique urban landscape.

Took my in-laws there on Wednesday for a lunch...we mostly opted for seafood as a change of pace....my 'large' prawn meal was okay, wife did not enjoy her Hake.....Andre our waiter was top drawer though....I suspect we expected too much from the food....just felt it could have been better for what we paid...

Kream offers everything from steak to sushi to curries. We pride ourselves on excellent service paired with delectable food. If you are a wine or whiskey lover, come take a look at our wise range of options.
I have visited Kream on many different occasions over the past years, but I have never reviewed it since so many have done so before. I would however do the owners, managers and staff a disservice by not adding my compliments to all the others. My most recent experience was a family dinner celebrating the birthday of my daughter in law and my own. It does not matter how many times one visits Kream, the experience is always superior to that of most establishments in the same category. The service is excellent with a dedicated waiters ensuring that you don't have to waive arms to attract their attention. The managers are hands-on. They will explain the menu and special dishes for the day in detail and will personally take the orders. I have never had any bad or mediocre food at Kream. From starters to Deserts are well prepared and beautifully presented. The wine list is extraordinary. Whether you plan a business lunch, light lunch with colleagues or friends, or a special occasion with friends and family, this should be your first choice. Although the prices are on the higher side, what you get is still good value for money.

Arrived not knowing what to expect other than a dinner reservation. What a setting, initially felt underdressed but not an issue, welcomed like a long lost friend.
What a setting, stylish upmarket but not pretentious, the menu was delightful but then the star arrived to surprise us with the specials, initial choice changed to the specials what a delight! & treat, the food was faultless presentation great & taste as promised.
If this was in the UK 3 AA Rosette standard, will without hesitation return & would like to take clients therre.
A great evening that !! Impeccable service with charm.

Restaurant Mosaic at The Orient Private Hotel is this country’s finest destination restaurant and private hotel. Award-winning South African Chef Chantel Dartnall is known for presenting the art of nature on her plates through her botanical cuisine to take you on a culinary tour of pure indulgence. Bask in the sophisticated atmosphere of exotic spaces; an Oriental style oasis set in lush and tranquil 280h of the Francolin Conservancy. The Mosaic cellar is unparalleled in this country with some of the most exceptional and rare wines from both South Africa and internationally.
This restaurant has the best food we have ever eaten - an adventurous culinary journey. The best of all however is, that chef Chantal greets every guest personally in the beginning and end of the meal, which is so special. Even though Chantel is world renowned the humility with which she comes across is refreshing and humbling. The attention to detail in Mosaic and The Orient is something to behold. What an experience we had! Thank you so
much for having us! We will be back!

I always make a point of going to Cafe Beyritz for s breakfast when I travel to South Africa . The coffee is exceptional, the menu has interesting and delicious options. They have cold and hot options for breakfast and there is something for everyone. Going around our table of six last weekend , everyone was thoroughly enjoying their meal. The waiters are very friendly and up beat and cheerful. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the parking outside is free. This really is a fine dining experience and well worth it.

Went to Tin Roof Café for "date night" and everything was amazing just like I've come to expect from them. Have been a couple of times as well with my family and have always had similar experiences. Really good attention to detail and the owner is always on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly!

Pollo pizza was moist and quite tasty.
Provolone pizza was the polar opposite. Burnt crust, sparse toppings and chorizo charred to a crisp.
When bringing this to the waiter's attention ,he just offered a smile in response.
Oh well, hope the guy at the traffic light enjoyed it!

This restaurant never disappoints. The quality and decadence of the food, the service and authenticity is always consistently exquisite. My husband and I are proud to eat at such a world-class restaurant is the heart of Pretoria. Will always come back.

People at this establishment are really customer-centric. Had a slightly long wait for the food, but it was worth the wait.
Good for couples , large groups and families. I like their disclaimer that goes along the lines " If you are not entirely Happy, talk to us as social media wont help"
