Independent, Fresh and Vibrant. Sarafina Wilmslow offers an exciting and ever-changing menu of Italian inspired food in a relaxed and stylish surrounding. Couples looking for a romantic night, friends seeking good food, families having quality time together, make the occasion a special one and come join us.
The surroundings a fresh and welcoming and the menu is varied and very reasonably priced. The service is also attentive ( if you don’t mind refreshing your own glasses) .
The calamari was bland and tasteless and despite lots of things on the plate with the gamberoni starter, the actual prawns were also bland.
The pizzas were nice enough but were garnished with balsamic vinegar, which my husband does not particularly care for. The waitress supplied a plate for him to remove most of the offending Parmesan shavings and rocket but he had to ask for fresh Parmesan as a replacement .

I cannot fault the serving staff, they are friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately the meals were very very average and that's being kind.
The risotto had lettle taste as it was under-seasoned and the chips were tasteless (I've had better oven chips!!).
We would not return as this is not the best dining experience

As you enter the restaurant it has a welcoming atmosphere and bar and subtle lighting, beautifully and tastefully decorated with a lovely combination of red and creme chairs accompanying neat and well presented tables. Straightaway the feeling is this restaurant is of a scrupulously clean establishment dedicated to a high standard of hygiene and cuisine and will definitely try the restaurant next time after sampling the food in a takeaway.
The food is of an extremely high standard. The poppadoms were nice and light and onions and chutney were really nice. The onions very finely chopped which i prefer to big pieces of onions mixed with a tomato puree and the chutney was a welcome accompaniment to it.
The mixed starter was extremely good. Delicately spiced onion bhajis, marinated red chicken tikka and seekh kebab with a mixed salad and mint sauce.
The Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh and (garlic naan bread to accompany) was the best i have tasted. Rich in flavour without being too overly hot. Perfect balance of richness of flavour and spice with onions and peppers adding nice texture to the sauce. Sauce was just the right texture and thickness not too runny or too thick. The rice was perfectly cooked and the yellow pilau (which i prefer) has a better flavour and texture. All in all a really good takeaway. Will definitely return to sample other dishes.

Our party of 12 arrived at the arranged time of 8pm. At first they appeared to have trouble finding our booking but were taken to a table for 10 and we were left to organise our own Seating.
The food was great. Tasty and great portions and despite the earlier and later problems I will go back as the food was delicious.
Oh the later problems? A random £71 appeared on the bill. It was removed without question when it was pointed out, just not the sort of problem you expect
