Little morton hall is gorgeous and a peaceful place to go. Love the warped buildings. We had a lovely picnic and it was so romantic. Yes - they have fishes in the moat. Fantastic.

The walk was pleasant and the oriental Gardens were a pleasure. People were very polite and courteous. It was windy but many places were shielded from the wind and rain. The cafe experience was average but the food was of decent quality.

Honestly, where do I begin to tell you how amazing this day was from start to finish!
Booked this a birthday gift for my partner as we are avid Forged In Fire fans: really good price for what I expected to be a morning activity.
When we arrived we chose what to make, not just a fire poker, not even a Viking knife; it was a full sized real camping knife!
We went through the whole process from farriers rasp to sharp blade.
Bill went through everything step by step, was very hands on helping myself as I struggled lifting the giant hammer! My partner on the other hand was able to pretty much get on with his own which made him feel very privileged!
Bill explained every step in detail, was incredibly helpful, informative, funny and friendly!
We ended up in the forge for FIVE hours! And it was the best day my partner and I have had!
Really can not recommend this more highly! As a treat for anyone of any age for any occasion!
We have our blades displayed for all to see; it’s a fantastic conversation starter and is truly an amazing experience!
Blacksmith Bill: I cannot thank you enough for the fantastic day you provided for my partner and I!
We will be back!! Xx

Rode Hall is a beautiful Cheshire country house with a fine collection of English porcelain and extensive Gardens. The extensive grounds include a woodland garden, formal garden and a two acre walled kitchen garden where our Head Gardener grows his record breaking gooseberries! It also provides a wide variety of flowers, vegetables and fruit which are sold at our monthly farmers' markets.Popular for our Snowdrop Walks in February when over 50 varieties of Snowdrops carpet a mile long refreshing walk along Rode Pool. Colour continues with the flowering of many species and hybrid rhododendrons and azaleas.Delightful tearooms selling homemade light lunches and cream teas. Gift shop selling Rode Hall produce and seasonal gifts.
Plenty of car parking. Gardens had a range of snowdrops in a Repton landscape. Italian and walled garden. Good tea room with light lunches, coffee, cake and afternoon tea for two available. Small shop. Helpful staff. Gardener, Kelvin Archer in Guineas book of records for growing biggest gooseberries.

Come and enjoy a wonderful day at Madrenaline, theres so much to do you'll stuggle for choices or why not spend the whole day with us and participate in everything that we have to offer, from Segways, Laser Clays, Archery, Sky Bow and Zorbing we just about have it all.
This was the best family activity ! Teenage children laughed so much at my initial inability to grasp the Segway steering but, thanks to the fantastic friendly instructors , i was zipping through the trees with confidence in no time.
Full safety briefing given; protective clothing & helmets provided .It can be a bit chilly up in the hills so take your gloves!
Thanks also to Trisha who sorted out our booking 'glitch'-customer service at its best.
I recommend Madrenaline for Segway fun!

We first went here last summer and just loved the many different options. Because of the way the heath is laid out you have several options from a short walk to a long one and there is loads of space. I loved the lake and the information room was brilliant I will definitely be going back!

I've never reviewed Gawsworth's outdoor Concerts although we've been almost every year. Whatever we see is always top quality, whether it be Shakespeare (wonderful in front of the half- timbered house) a folk or a rock concert.
Car parking is ample and easily accessible and in the afternoon we do a tour of the old house, followed by a long, lazy, picnic with friends on the lawn. As evening draws on we move to the impressive grandstand for the concert, this year was "Brothers in Arms", a Dire Straits tribute band who were excellent.
Altogether an essential part of a Cheshire summer.

Delta Force Paintball Holmes Chapel is in Cheshire is located just off the M6 and offers customers the ultimate paintballing experience. Frequently used by Premier League football teams including Manchester United and Manchester City, Delta Force in Congleton has the reputation of being one of the UK's best paintballing venues. In addition to the action-packed game zones including villages, and graveyards there are spectacular focal points in the base camp including a genuine WWII Bofors Anti-Aircraft Gun.
We went to Hemel Hempstead site and that was our third time there. As alway the atmosphere was electric, the welcoming was warm and the staff were brilliant. The kids had a wonderful day, lots of fun and heavy exercise. They enjoyed the day immensely and the pizza was nice.
For us; the parents waiting in the shades, we had good toilet facilities and nice coffee and tea on offer. We would have welcomed a nicer coffee facility maybe in the shop and some ready made sandwiches. Maybe next time we will bring a picnic basket from home. Card games, which we brought along with us from home, kept us entertained. All in all it was perfect as always and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back.
