The food here is always really tasty and fantastic quality having eaten here multiple times. It's a little bit pricier than any of the other local pubs but you get what you pay for.

Peruga at woodheys A beautiful restaurant and venue with mind blowing views of rolling hills set within a rural/urban environment. Perfect for lunch or your wedding!
We were a group of 5 who went for Sunday lunch on Mother's Day. We arrived just before 1:30pm and the restaurant was heaving. We eventually got our starters at 2:30pm. We left immediately having finished our Deserts at 4pm! The service was appalling and nothing in the way of an apology. The food was extremely unpleasant, particularly the chicken. The roast beef was horrible too. Second bad experience there so won't be going again.

Came here fir the first time the other weekend for my brothers birthday. On entering the restaurant the staff made us all feel welcome and shown us to where are table was that was booked.
There was a little starter of popadoms and little different types of sauces that was nice. The meal which comes with rice or nam or both. Have a wide range of meals on the menu which is good and the prices are awesome to.
The food was hot and tasty, rice fluffy and colourful.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal out.

Lovely people and incredibly tasty food. Me and my lady go here very often due to the amazing friendly staff and the outstanding dishes. The chef comes form a small Thai villa and her cooking styles is all about those flavours. Nothing is too much trouble and they tweak the food to however you like it (I like spice!!!). It was my birthday recently ( I barely mentioned it btw) and they came out with this beautiful sea bass dish just to say "happy birthday" and thank you for your custom. Cant recommend this highly enough :)

Excellent food, Excellent service, Air conditioned Pleasant surrounding with a friendly atmosphere, Free Wi-Fi.
This was our first visit to the Maple Tree restaurant in Marple Bridge, having booked the previous evening. The food and service were exceptional - even my daughter (who normally dislikes Chinese food) loved it and found food that she enjoyed. Sunni is so welcoming and friendly, and even played "Edelweiss" on the mouth organ for us at the end of a thoroughly delicious meal. Surreal, but thoroughly charming. Will definitely go again - and this will be our "go to" place for Chinese takeaway in future also. We feel like we've discovered a local gem.

The Hare & Hounds in Mill Brow, Marple Bridge is a traditional country pub that makes no apologies for the lack of jukebox or fruit machine. We're passionate about what matters, excellent restaurant quality food, prepared by head chef Ryan using local, seasonal produce with beer and ales from our award winning cellar, served in a warm, informal and friendly atmosphere. It's a home from home where you can dine or drink the hours away, basking in the warm glow of the real log fire, chat at the bar or refuel after a bracing country walk.
Pretentious overpriced underwhelming food. Game & unicorn pie, supposed to be mixed game, couldn’t tell cos it was all tasteless. Need lessons in pastry making. Garlic mash, couldn’t taste any garlic but it was over salted. Not enough gravy, oops sorry they probably call it jus!
Black coffee, all slopped in the saucer, barely warm & tasted a week old. Sent it back but although the second cup was hotter it was still revolting. They have the nerve to charge £2.60 for a teacup of this liquid.
Save your money and taste buds for a cheaper & tastier meal elsewhere.

Had another fabulous meal last night at The Piggy, and I've never had a bad meal yet! June, a wonderful landlady. Paul, a great Landlord. The establishment is very attentive with customers, ensuring they enjoy their stay. The friendly staff and fantastic chef makes sure you receive above and beyond what you order. Smashing atmosphere, can't wait for my next meal!
