We spend a wonderful day at this (compared to many other beaches) less frequented beach. White sand, crystal clear water, cool location and good facilities (sunbeds, showers, etc.) make this beach a fantastic stay. A car to get to the beach is recommended.

A nice, cozy bay, with sandy beach, close to the harbour and reachable through a nice walk. Not to be taken into consideration during the summer months , but, instead , try to walk there early in the morning or late at sunset, it is magical, with a few people, and you can swim almost alone. A special spot for nice photo without searching far.

The beach is undoubtedly beautiful, great place for families, but the walks around the dunes offer some stunning views and the feeling of being really away from it all. There are a variety of walks at levels of distance and strenuosity, so something to suit most people.

A lovely and quiet area in which to relax. The spa benefits from a wonderful view as well as premier facilities. It was a bit quiet during my visits, but otherwise a great place to chill

Carlos our guide did a great job. He was not rushing, explained every cave and let us take pictures without a hurry.
We were a small group, altogether just 12 people! This caves are just amazing. All the different chambers have special names, which match to their impression. Almost breathtaking was the chamber "inferno". Here we listened to classical music while lights where changing. The most impressive caves we have seen so far.

Cala Torta

Reviewed By SammieJ0 - Manchester

A beautiful beach setting with a huge stretch of white sand, but possibly not worth the effort to get there. Long bumpy road down, followed by a bit of a walk to the sea on a blistering hot day felt like walking through a dessert. The entrance to the sea is full of thick seaweed, apart from a tiny area on the right hand side. Once past the seaweed the sea is turquoise & beautifully clear. Beach bar conveniently located on the beach and ample parking, keep driving, there is a lower car park.

Castell de Capdepera

Reviewed By KentishPrincess - Aylesford, United Kingdom

We stumbled across this place whilst driving along the coast from Cala Millor. We could see the hill in the distance which enticed us to venture nearer and we weren't disappointed. It's a beautiful castle of which the oldest remaining tower dates back to 1216 if I remember correctly. Many additions have been made over the centuries and you can walk around at your leisure. There are quite a few steps to climb to reach the castle, we did count them, I think it was around 147 but you can take your time so there is no rush. There is a 3 euro entry fee but you get a brochure telling you how best to walk around and there was also a free booklet to take away of the Castles history through the centuries. You can walk around half of the ramparts and take in the stunning views but some still need re-in forcing. They are still excavating the village built within the castle walls but you are well informed of what has been done so far. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. It's not huge so will only take you 30 minutes or so to look around. There are toilets within the castle grounds and there is a free car park at the bottom of the hill, well signposted through the village.
