Located some metres away from Torre de Canyamel, this restaurant is famous for the high standard of its traditional Majorcan cuisine, and, above all, for the star dish "porcella" (suckling pig), made on a natural holm-oak tree wood fire. The pigs are raised on the same farm of the restaurant, which is a perfect example of fresh and natural cooking you can relish sitting at a table of Porxada resurant
This goes down as one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in. Imagine a school canteen crossed with a military boot camp and you'll start to get the picture. Waitresses rushed around the huge restaurant at breakneck speed, banging down plates and glasses as they served and cleared. No time for smiles or pleasantries. No time to allow us to finish our starters before clearing the plates. No change of cutlery between courses. In and out in an hour. Starter of melon and ham was OK as were the padron peppers. My husband's roast lamb was tender but covered in an unappetisingly thick and congealed brown "honey" sauce. My lamb chops were fatty but well seasoned. Both dishes came with what looked like mixed frozen vegetables - over cooked and rather unpleasant and new potatoes which were surprisingly tasty. Couldn't face hanging around for pudding or coffee! In my view there is nothing to recommend here.

Located in the beautiful Bay of Canyamel, and presenting stunning views of the sparkling sea from its charming Terrace, the Cap Vermell restaurant specialises in fresh fish and seafood. With a menu largely inspired by the sea itself and the lobster tank offering plenty of delectable choices, the young and enthusiastic team offers high quality cooking in the peaceful surroundings of the bay. Look out for the daily catch of Saltwater Monkfish in particular, as well as the ever-evolving wine list, Reading like a connoisseur's European tour with selections from Spain, Italy and France. There is also a seaside champagne lounge and easy access to the beach. In keeping with the philosophy of this calming setting, this restaurant is ideal for relaxing and feeling revitalised. At the same time, you can enjoy good food, complemented by an attentive and personalised service.
Stayed at the hotel because it was all I could find at short notice! In the event it was excellent, and the restaurant a delight. Charming service, well-judged menu, and by no means expensive. I would revisit JUST for the restaurant, in fact.Dear Customer. Thanks for giving us a perfect score and for recommending our Restaurant to other travelers. I am sure that all our staff enjoyed attending to your needs. I hope see you soon.

It is very popular among germans - I believe because of the drinks selection. We went two times just to be sure, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with food and wine. There are much better and cheaper options in Capdepera. The location is very nice though and it is always sunny there ;)

We found this restaurant in Capdepera after we discovered that the food in Cala Ratjada was very bad. We got a table on the roof and it was cosy and refreshing.
Food was super good, pasta with lobster and beef tenderloin.
Service was super personal and good, little minus for the bad english.
Chef was super nice on our arrival and we would def go back.

The restaurant is located in the middle of a land where our philosophy has given it a raison d’etre. Cultivating a garden of 6,000 square metres allows us to supply ourselves with Mediterranean vegetables. We follow their growth daily and bring them to the kitchen when they offer their best taste.Andreu has cooked privately for several members of European royalty, and his beautifully presented cuisine reveals why. There is no separate a la carte menu, but three monthly-changing tasting menus – ‘Cuina de la Terra’, ‘Sensations’ (which certainly lived up to its name when we tried it), and the Tasting Menu Andreu Genestra. Dishes from the first two tasting menus can be ordered individually if you prefer fewer courses.
The place is a great opportunity to try new tastes and flavours. Generally most of the people as I observed go for a tastin menu option. We chose 8 course menu. I would llie to say that I liked everything. We had the fish which wasn't my taste, very raw inside but the rest was just perfect. We could try sea food but also meat. The best one was pigeon. Very professional staff described everything in detail. Definitely one of the best places I've been to. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I couldn't choose 5 course menu and my husband 8 course option. Both of us had to choose the same menu. As my husband wanted to try more dishes I also had to go for 8 course option and that's why I couldn't finish my meals because I was so full. It would be nice to have a choice.

Restaurant is just average: no great location, no great atmosphere, no great food. After Reading all outstanding reviews on the paella, I really wanted to give it a try but got disappointed as it was below my expectations. It was quite oily and salty and did not feel it was the highest quality and taste. The salad was with too much dressing, nearly swimming in dressing - probably how the German like it (as 80% of Clients are German-speaking). However the prices are reasonable. The staff was really nice.

Called here through a happy accident. We had a couple of Sin alcohol beers. It has a nice atmosphere and anybody would be made to feel at home. There are even board games on hand. The prices are very reasonable and the coffee is first rate. Going back again tomorrow.
