Bronte Beach, sandwiched between the bigger Bondi and Coogee Beaches, is a cozier stretch of sand and surf perfect for families.
Bronte is a nice tranquil beach, with a convenient grassed area behind the beach. In terms of a pure swimming beach Bondi is better and has more space. Worth doing the walk from Bondi to Bronte beach.

I am a bit biased as I lived across the road from the beach for 21 years! However I never grew tired of the beautiful walk from Bondi to Coogee along the greatest coastline in the world. The beach itself is small with a small cafe and changing facilities . The surf can be treacherous for inexperienced surfers so beware. Parking is a lottery so public transport to either Bondi or Bronte might be a good option with the added benefit of the incredible view as you walk to Tamarama.

What a fantastic experience. Starting off from Rose Bay we had an absolutely amazing flight up the coast to our lunch destination, Cottage Point Inn. After a fantastic meal and a few hours relaxing over a few quite drinks we then boarded the plane for the...MoreGreat to hear that you enjoyed your experience and we also enjoyed having you on board. Secluded Beaches, quiet coves and soaring headlands predominate this harbor, which is considered one of the world's most beautiful.
Visiting Sydney Harbour has definitely changed my views of this State. The harbour is one of the most beautiful places we have visited. With transport easily accessible with Ferries, trains and ships leaving from this destination it makes life simple and easy to get around.

One of many sea baths in Sydney – a walled-off section of ocean – this one is particularly popular with locals, and includes changing rooms, a picnic area, a kiosk and outdoor massages and yoga.
As a Coogee native, my sister & I Learned how to swim here, thanks to Dad who threw us in she 3 without warning. Been coming back ever since. The tourists & noisy transients unfortunately have caught wind of it but being a local institution they don't get away with much bad behaviour down here. Came here on a January Sunday when the mercury was pushing 41 degrees and it didn't disappoint. Pool was a bit rough & tidal, but that adds to the fun. Watch the kiddies in the rough! Lifeguards on duty but they're not babysitters, so remember that's your job to look out for them. Clubhouse snacks are pretty basic but reasonably priced (bring your own picnic if you like, but no. Ooze allowed) & it's a short
Walk to coogee beach proper. Give it a try. You won't regret it. You can even get married down here in their new function centre, featured on Married At First Sight!

The view is magnificent. I like the beach here more than Bondi. It's smaller but it's not that busy. And besides beach activities, you can have picnic, costal walk or bush walking here. It's definitely a place for all ages. Please note that there's only cafe. It's better to bring your own food.

A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, Beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The Beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All Beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional Seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.
This is by far one of the more scenic coastal walks that I’ve completed. It was an exquisite day and though it was a weekday, it was still quite a busy thoroughfare. I would not recommend walking it on a weekend as navigating past the crowds would take from the breathtaking views. Good walking shoes, a camera, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and plenty of water will provide you with ample protection against whatever nature might cast your way. There are water refilling stations, restaurants and restrooms along the way. As mentioned in a prior review, there are some renovations around the cemetery whereby you need to navigate your way thru those graves of those departed, but this is only a short disruption in time and distance and will not minimize the beauty of the walk.

the boss surprised me by celebrating 20 years of marriage with a flight up to Jonas at palm beach for lunch. Money well spent as we felt like royalty. excellent flight, pilot and transfers and a magnificent lunch. Only disappointment was having to share the flight with a photographer/ promotional filming crew who's large cameras obstructed the view from the windows . otherwise a must do when in sydney

Vaucluse House is one of Sydney’s few 19th-century mansions still surrounded by its original Gardens and wooded grounds. A visit to Vaucluse House makes for a perfect outing, be it strolling or picnicking in the grounds (accessible free of charge), dining in the tearooms or experiencing the spectacular refurbishment inside the house. Staff led or self guided tours are also available. Regular opening days are Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm. We are open daily during NSW school holidays.
We waited half an hour for the 3pm guided tour and it was well worth our wait. The guide was very knowledgeable regarding the Wentworth family home and he brought the rooms to life.Although I found the old kitchen and servants areas of most interest the family rooms give a significant insight into society life at that period in Sydney and that of their three daughters.I also found the stable area interesting. There are some delightful grounds and with the tour of the house my view is that it was an excellent way to spend two hours.

Explore Sydney Harbour offers guided 2 hour self-drive boat tours to the major highlights in Sydney Harbour. Experience the most beautiful harbour in the world in a unique way. Not boating experience or boat license required.
We had a great time cruising the harbor in our little boats. And you really are cruising the harbor. Ferries, cruise ships, sailboats,... You'll be meeting them all, and some of them will make you feel like a minnow among whales. These are small speedboats, but they have a lot of power so zipping around other, larger craft is not an issue. Racing toward the Opera House and waving up at all the people was a blast. Some of them might be like you, or like us the day before our tour, standing there looking down ink envy at the little red boats and thinking, "How'd they get to do that?!" It can be jolting and extra-thrilling at times when you hit a patch of swells, but you don't head out on your own and you have an instruction session before motoring off. You will want to wear clothes that can get wet, although we wore the ponchos provided by the company and were dry--unlike the people who hopped out of the boat before we got in. They were wet. Should have worn the ponchos. Don't bring a bunch of camera equipment and shopping bags full of souvenirs. Go drop everything off the hotel/house before you go out onto the harbor. Bring a waterproof GoPro, though. You do not want to pull out your phone and try take snaps while cruising along. Bring sunglasses and load up on sunscreen. We went at 5:30 and it was beautiful but bright heading west.
