We visited this place on a recent trip to Germany. It is so beautiful. All of the landscaping was immaculate and wonderful. There are Fountains and flowers. Plenty of places to walk and enjoy the grounds. A very large Fountain highlights the landscape and leads to the Kaiser's Place which was built in 1703. Everything was so tranquil and peaceful. Loved this place.

If (when) you visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Denkmal (Monument) in Porta Westfalica, you can see the entire city from above. It's very beautiful and relaxing.
The only downside is that if you don't speak German, you won't understand any of the plaques placed about the monument.

Bali Therme was the reason for our stay in Bad Oeynhausen and we were not disappointed. While prices are high, so are the service standards. Staff was more helpful than at similar places elsewhere and everything looked well maintained.
It is not only the great choice of different pools and saunas which make this a great place for relaxation. What really makes a difference is the Bali themed decor that is not just superficial but can be found everywhere.

What can you say about the opulence associated with the Kaiser's Palace which was built in 1703 as his summer home? This place is beautiful on the inside and outside. The theatre was large and spacious with great acoustics. Everything was great and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Very beautiful place.

I visited Potts Park with some friends in early April. Rarely do I have such a laugh in an amusement park. There's so much fun, weird and crazy stuff to do...including a toilet attraction!
There are many slides, there are some water rides, there's a building dedicated to illusions to mess with the mind, it is all fantastic.
I loved Potts Park, so much to do, 2 roller coasters, it is just a great little park, highly recommended.

Kinder zahlen 1,-€, Erwachsene 2,-€
