Went here on a Friday Matinee, the staff was super friendly. The old building was renovated so everything was super comfortable clean and tidy. The prices are excellent, and the snack bar still carries Glossettes which are my favourite. They encourage recycling, will fill your own coffee mug with coffee and hot chocolate for $1.00, if your bring your own bowl they will fill it with the popcorn for $1.00. The staff was on hand to accept the recycling and garage when we left. Highly recommend this, such a nice experience compared to the super chains and high prices.

This place is really just outside of Loretto Ontario which is approximately 20km from Beeton and 3km south of Hwy89.
The small on site store offers some fresh packaged meats and dairy products.
The chocolate milk is the best testing chocolate milk I have ever tasted.
At this time of year you can also take home some fantastic tasting eggnog.
But don't just take my word for it, be sure and ask for a free sample.
In the summer months they also serve one of the best ice cream anywhere made by Kawartha Dairies.
This is a great little pit stop on the way to or from the slopes or cottage.
Two thumbs up.

The lots are fairly private, and a pretty good size. Brush seperates pretty much each site (where the tents are, anyway). The sunsets are gorgeous on the man-made lake. It's a great spot for photographers (in my opinion). Camping here in the Fall is beautiful! There's lots of trails to hike. There's a beach. It's not too far from the GTA (roughly a 1 1/2 hour drive from Toronto). They have a large pool and a playground. There's picnic areas. You can rent a canoe and/or paddle boat. Although, be forewarned; it can get a bit smelly out on the lake when it gets really humid due to the poop from the many geese that also like to camp here. All and all, I'd rate Earl Rowe a 9/10. It's one of our favourite places to camp!

The Forks of the Credit Park is beautiful in the fall, but it's best in the spring. So many of our trails in Caledon are in the forest, but the Forks Park has wide open meadows as well as deeply incised Forests. On those first sunny days of spring, you can feel the warmth on your back in this park. I suggest lying down in a protected spot and just absorbing the Sunshine. Call it vitamin D if you want.
My hiking guide, Caledon Hikes: Loops & Lattes, describes many of the trails that crisscross this great park. If you want detailed instructions on visiting the Waterfalls and ruins, lazing by the Credit River and wandering through the hamlet of Brimstone, it will tell you how. It will even give you ideas on where to stop for lunch or a latte after your walk.
The Forks of the Credit Park is a lovely hilly place with a great network of trails. It is where the Niagara Escarpment meets the Oak Ridges Moraine so you get near cliffs as well as the kames and kettles of the moraine. But be warned, it is no where near Alliston, despite what Trip Advisor says. This is an error due to the fact the park is managed by the same group that manages Earl Rowe Provincial Park, which is near Alliston. The Forks of the Credit Park is in Caledon.

Such a wonderfully accomplished refurbishing of an important 19th century industrial building in Alliston. Thanks to the Gibson family for their generosity! It is a building that needs to be visited and walked through to really appreciate the beauty and care that went into this renovation, this labour of love. Kudos to the many volunteers who helped on this project from the beginning stages. The Honda Hall, the performance venue, works for smallish Performances. The art gallery space is spacious and bright (maybe not appropriate for historic art works) and good for most contemporary work. The broader community has access to an historic building for a seminar or a talk or a wedding (yes it is a favourite among the wedding planners).

If you are looking for one on one attention, fantastic atmosphere then look no further. The Beach House offers everything you want and need from accommodating reception ladies to a nice beverage offering upon arrival, courteous staff who provide excellent service. I would get gift certificates for your family members and that special someone you can't provide a better gift in my opinion.

Nicolston Dam RV Park is located off Hwy 89 in Essa. Between Cookstown and Alliston, 1 block north west from the Nottawasaga Inn and Convention Centre. 15 & 30 amp hookups and water. Because we are in a protected 110-year-old conservation zone there are no sewer hookups available. But we do offer 2 conveniently located dump stations in the park. Whether you’re in pop-up or a big rig, we can easily accommodate you. Reservations recommended. Take a refreshing swim in our sparkling clean pool or relax along side the pool deck. Enjoy an exciting game of horseshoes or a leisurely game of mini-golf during your stay. Or maybe a canoe, kayak or SUP rental is more your style. If so, the beautiful Nottawasaga River awaits you.
A really nice campground... Run by a very friendly couple. 30 amp.. Water.. Nice pull through sites. Clean rustic bath house. Grass is cut. Located right off the highway 89. Tip: the access gate is controlled by a paper bar code paper..
It is fragile and easy to loose be carefully with it. They provide a dump station. Wifi available. Good fishing.. A pony & goat area. Historic building.

We are informed daily about diabetes, how to protect ourselves form it, how to spot the symptoms, but few of us realize who we have to thank for the very first big strides in fighting Diabetes. Well Alliston is the home base of Banting who is responsible for so much of our present knowledge about diabetics and the discovery of insulin. Did you know that he is a Canadian. Banting's homestead is well worth a morning or afternoon. Many of his art works hang in the house. Pack a lunch and spend an hour sitting on the veranda or on the grounds. you get a feeling of what is was like to live in the county. This homestead is still in the county and has an unusual octagonal drive shed.
