ur unique enclave on the scenic Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge is a sought-after wine destination where a warm welcome awaits young and old. Ranging from our knowledgeable and attentive staff and our world-famous Wine and Food Pairing options to elegant touches such as our superior Riedel glassware – everything combines to offer our guests a truly memorable experience. And that includes our younger visitors for whom we cater with a special Young Adults Menu as well as their very own Kiddies Pairing!
We had a delightful meal and the wines were superb. Lovely staff who could not have been more helpful. Would definitely revisit.

Beautiful family friendly wine farm in the Overberg! Great views, Great food and Great people
Living in Stellenbosch, and absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to wine it’s not often that we venture over the Mountains into the Overberg for wine tasting. However, the New Year, New Adventures bug caught as and so we decided to venture beyond our usual borders, and so we found ourselves at the picturesque Gabrielskkoof - and what a fantastic time we had!
We were hosted by Mr Bernard Heyns himself, who was an absolute wealth of conversation and knowledge. As a table full of keen wine enthusiasts, we would have liked very much for him to pull up a chair and join us with an open bottle for the rest of the afternoon!
The experience was the perfect combination of simplicity, and authenticity. The wines are excellent, and the homemade olives made by Mrs Heyns were out of this world!
This is most certainly a must to add to add wine lovers bucket list.
If New Year’s Day is any kind of reflection of the year to come, 2018 is sure to be a fantastic one!

If it's good coffee you're after then Gabbiano is highly recommended. Light meals and friendly, efficient service offer guests a chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As always, good quality ingredients will ensure that any meal you have is flavourful and fresh.
We sat near the fire and both of us were pleased with our food choices for breakfast - I had scrambled eggs on a fresh croissant and some bacon... delicious! What we both appreciated was the relatively short time that we waited between placing the...Moregood day i am glad that you enjoyed your croissant & that you were pleased with our service. thank you for the review, it is appreciated. visit soon!

ZOOOP offers good food, a lovely fire in winter or outdoors in the Sunshine, and our very own vegetable garden. It is essential to call and book in advance. We also deliver healthy hearty meals to your door. Meals are prepared from organic ingredients where ever possible. We are open on the weekends but only if you have made a booking.
Lindy's is the must-try spot if you love home grown organic produce, garden-to-table cooking and a touch of quirk. Lindy runs a catering business (amongst offering a writer's retreat and artist's studio) from her home, which is an oasis of creative entrepreneurship in Caledon. No...MoreWhat a beautiful review, thank you so much! Your Sunshine personalities brought so much pleasure to each of us, we truly hope you will come back to enjoy a meal here again in the future. With warm regards from all of us in the kitchen.

Been traveling for the week and regularly stop at Wimpy for meals. Was very disappointed at the time it took to get a cheeseburger, which should be standard output in the establishment. At other Wimpy's the burger is ready within 5 minutes. Took about 15 mins to get the burger out.

Whether it's padkos, a snack or quick bite to eat, Van Brakel Stoor Padstal is worth a stop. We are an old-time country store and coffee shop that offers local cuisine, area wines and home-made delicacies. We also function fantastically as an events venue and conference facility. Find us on the R326 between Caledon and Napier.
We use this road often between Cape Town and Struisbaai, and try to plan our journey so that we can stop at van Brakel for breakfast. This has always been an enjoyable interlude, the food satisfactory and filling (if you expect five-star cuisine rather stay in the city), and we could stock up on bottled delicacies and maybe their excellent sausage.

A small family run pizzeria offering a cosy relaxed dining experience to all diners, families are very welcome and we have a deck where patrons with pets can sit. We are open during load-shedding and till late at night. We are more than just a pizzeria, offering our customers a wide selection of food items. We are licensed to sell alcohol and offer cocktails in the evenings.
It is really worth it to drive all the way to Caledon to visit Fat Henry's Pizzeria to enjoy their smoked salmon salad. We visited twice since our last visit and I had smoked salmon on both occasions and my husband had a Banting pizza with a London topping which he said was not really worth it as the base in an additional R45. The Salmon however was to die for. Between the 4 of us we had 4 glasses of wine, 2 beers, 2 bottles of water, 2 smoked salmon salads and 2 pizzas. R494 with tip.

Attached to Caledon casino, this steakhouse is 'upmarket' . Good friendly waitress. My husband had a good steak, but my burger was awful- solid and tasteless.
