This provincial park is located about 30 minutes along a windy, dirt road from Clinton, B.C.
There are many campsites/RV sites that overlook the lake, as well as cosy well-treed, private campsites within the park.
The beach is quite large for an inland lake. Although, not a fisherman myself, we heard that the fishing was good.
Just 15 minutes up the road is Big Bar Guest Ranch which also offers camping and cabins. Big Bar offers drop in rates for horse back riding - $60.00 for a 2.5 hour ride either morning or afternoon or a full 5 hour day ride leaving at 10:00. Take the whole family (kids must be 8 to ride alone, or they can have a parent led pony ride).

We stopped by the Clinton Emporium on the first leg of our road trip and it was amazing. Room after room jammed packed with some great pieces, they seem to have a bit of everything from every era. We will definitely be returning when we have more time to explore!
One block off the highway, our library offers free WiFi and internet access to travelers. Printing and copying is available for a per page fee. Check our web site for information about our free programming for children and adults.
