I have read many reviews, and been recommended this establishment by many friends.
DiMario's did not disappoint.
Being that it would be considered fine dining, I am a little more critical than I would be a mid class restaurant.
Our server Destiny was a great face for the restaurant. Happy, Helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. She is an asset to the staff.
For those of you who read more than one of my reviews, you will notice we normally order dinner for three when there is only two of us, gives us a better chance to sample the menu. Tonight was no different.
Apps...
Caesar Salad ... Crisp, fresh great garlic flavour.
Grilled figs...Citrus, honey mascarpone stuffed figs, wrapped in prosciutto
The taste was amazing and new ( they were grilled 30 secs too long, little hint of burnt taste which took away from the experience)
Beef Carpaccio with butter poached lobster, mixed greens and cherry tomatoes.
Very fresh ( needed a drizzel of some sort maybe a sweet mustard) as neither had a dominant flavour.
Mains...
Fresh tomato Linguine. Tossed tiger shrimp with crab. Cherry tomato, rapini, olive oil and garlic,... Wifey is still raving about it. Best pasta she has ever had.
Risotto. comes with beef tenderloin tips, wild mushrooms cream sauce.
Excellent, beef was melt in your mouth tender and great mushroom selection.
Wild B.C. Rockfish ( Rockfish is like Snapper). the portion of fish was huge.
Side vegetable was excellent and crisp... wifey has found her new favorite place for Italian.
Veal chop, with a wild mushrooms and a truffle cream reduction.
Bit over cooked ( med well... should have been med- med rare) and there was no truffle flavour in the reduction. more of a mushroom flavour... very good, but was looking for that distinct truffle punch.
Espresso and the "off menu" cheese cake.
This 3 cheese ( marscapone, ricotta, and cream cheese) cheese cake is ridiculously good. your really need to experience it.
As I always say.... best compliment I can ever give.
"I would go back."

Setback from the road and not easily seen, my wife and I were in for a wonderful experience! Warm welcome by all the team and excellent attention from start to finish.
Great selection of reasonably priced wines to accompany a varied selection of fish, meat and vegetarian fare.
Relaxing ambience to enjoy the occasion or if you are in a hurry they quickly attend to your needs

Casual fine dining, outdoor Seating, cooking classes and winemakers dinners. Leaders in food quality, service and atmosphere.
the menu offers a number of excellent choices and the staff are always so helpful. The always seem to love their job. That says a lot about the place, in my opinion. The best Spaghetti Bolognese anywhere!

We have been here on many occasions for both the Tuesday night Tapas and regular dinner or lunch. The wide variety of tapas means there is a selection for all. Good wine and beer list. And fantastic martini list.

Welcome to the Award-Winning LETTUCE LOVE CAFE. We are Canada's first 100% Gluten-free Vegan Restaurant, and we are Burlington's healthiest food option. Consistently rated #1 by TripAdvisor and Reader's Choice Awards. Our food is hand-made daily with the freshest natural ingredients. Our produce is organic and locally harvested whenever available. Our service is award-winning and the friendliest you'll find. Our intimate, relaxed and cozy restaurant and patio is just steps away from the beautiful waterfront.
I've always liked this restaurant despite finding it wildly overpriced but still often go there anyways. Food is consistent and it's always delicious.
Last night shared the nacho platter with a few girls and when it arrived, we found multiple tiny ants moving around. The server hadn't even left the table before we noticed them and she took them back right away and offered to bring us new ones. Sadly we had also already paid for the meal before we sat down so we weren't reimbursed either.
Phoned the manager next day and to his surprise, no one had told him about the ants which to me is a red flag and I wonder how much precaution is REALLY taken with the cleanliness and preparation of the food. He offered me a $50 gift card which I appreciated, but still, our experience kind of permanently scarred the brand for us.

This place is absolutely unreal. The food is some of the tastiest I've ever had. Chicken, goat, and beef roti are all fantastic, and the spice levels are always consistent. Their Doubles are one of the most fun and delicious sandwiches out there. The service there is honestly just super friendly and kind - I haven't met a staff person there that wasn't smiling and enjoying what they do, even in peak/busy hours. Can't beat the food, can't beat the price. If you love chicken curry wrapped in a delicious roti, this is the place for you. Net time I'm in, my wife and I are going to try the coconut shrimp, cause COCONUT SHRIMP!

OPEN holiday Mondays! Follow any of the winding cobblestone pathways of Burlington's Village Square and you will find your way to Rayhoon Persian Eatery nestled at the centre. Rayhoon derives its name from the Persian word for Basil, an important herb in Persian Cuisine. This culinary tradition dates back centuries and guests will feel transported by the menu which can be enjoyed either inside our exotic interior or al fresco on the courtyard patio. In our menu you will find a mouth-watering selection of dishes that are aimed to please, including vegan and vegetarian options. We are pleased to say that all of our dishes are halal and most of our menu items are gluten-free! Takeout is also available.
My husband and I went for an early Valentines dinner. We were seated promptly, the restaurant is very quaint and the waitress helpful. A man, who I assume is the owner was walking around making sure everything was running well. Even though we went at 4 pm on a Sunday there were quite a few tables occupied. We had the tilapia and the lamb mizi. Both were fabulous. We will be back!

Judge and Jury is a pub that is somewhat on the small side which contributes to an overflowing lunch crowd. The staff and service were excellent; the menu selection is rather large which makes choosing what you want a longer process. Ours was a business lunch but because of the crowd we had to sit at a smaller bar table which once the meals came, became a juggling adventure of food, drinks and condiments. Normally when I'm visiting a pub style restaurant for the first time I opt for either a burger or fish and chips which allows me to fairly compare the quality of food with other establishments, as any decent restaurant should be able to knock these off and show what they can do. I veered off-course and went with the schnitzel of the entree menu - schnitzel is something that can be done either very well or very poorly, there is no middle ground. And I must confess that my home made schnitzels are to die for. My order came it was the largest schnitzel I've ever been served, well overflowing the size of the plate. My colleagues were shocked and bet that I would never finish it, especially with the massive side of mashed potatoes. Well I won despite the fact the schnitzel was severely overdone. A proper schnitzel should be a light brown in color and should easily be eaten strictly with a fork. I was disappointed, but because I had missed breakfast I was hungry. My colleagues were also not overwhelmed by their orders which ranged from a burger to a lunch salad. Sometimes being crowded can overwhelm a kitchen.

I've reviewed this restaurant several times because it deserves it. And we really do eat there often. Our most recent lunch was from the Taste of Burlington menu - the bistro had more choices than most of the restaurants participating. They always make sure there's at least a beef, chicken, fish, pasta and vegetarian option. With wonderful soups and desserts made in house. A dinner a few days before had us literally moaning over the Beef Wellington. Great patio season coming up!
