Trusting trip-advisor decided to take a bit detour to have breakfast at Hotel Sriram. Really nice south indian breakfast served in banana leaf. Its an old resturant and has that old world charm. Pongal, vadas and chutneys are the highlights of the place. Friendly staff who provide good homely service, not even rigid any 'plate' based order. Must visit if you are heading this side.

This restaurant is located on the NH44 which connects Bangalore & Salem.
They have ample parking space & because of the locational advantage it is reasonably popular joint among the Highway travellers.
However, language is a problem as the staff can neither follow English nor Hindi - the only language they are conversant with is a Tamil. They also do not accept credit card payment & business runs only on cash.
The food quality is moderate & service is also average.

Dharmapuri Sai Sangeet is best is Ambiance As usual food is tasty, little expensive. They have shopping store in ground level. We can find books, music, hand work materials, Isha products our childhood snacks, pottery etc..,

Part of Adhiyaman Palace premises, very good Veg & Non Veg restaurant in Dharmapuri. Tables are separated by cabin like structure. Play space for kids is there. They serve south meals. And also other veg dishes and Non Veg dishes. Ac is very powerful. Waiting area is available. They do take card along with cash payment. For somebody new to Dharmapuri, Akshaya could be start restaurant. Neat & clean. Hotel for all.

Adyar Ananda Bhavan is well known for its South Indian cuisines. This restaurant is located at Palayampudur on the national highway NH 44 between Salem and Krishnagiri. Its google co ordinates are : 12.016653, 78.089084 . If you are proceeding from Salem to Bangalore, this restaurant lies on your left after Thoppur ghat section and the toll gate. It has spacious dinning area and a huge car parking facilities. It has a gas station adjoining to it. Children have a play area with basic play equipment. Food is excellent here and well served.
