Krishnagiri is a 90km ride from Bengaluru.
Ride was so good as it covers 100% highway and Temple is easily reachable.
Heard so much about the temple and it's powers. Yes it's worth visiting.
One can spend a good half day through ride to the Temple and can visit the Dam/Park nearby.
Happy visiting.

One of the main attractions in Krishnagiri. Magnificent view of the dam and equally nicely maintained park . Entry fee is 10 Rs per adult . Only concern are the monkeys which are anyhow there throughout in public places . Preferably visit in early evening times to beat the scorching sun and heat

I recently visited this fort with friends. It is located in Krishnagiri which is accessible by bus from Chennai. The fort starting point is a bit difficult to find and you can get help of auto drivers to get the route. Its is two hour moderate trek to the top and one can get very good view from the top and also a mosque is present at the top.A must climb fort for trekkers.

We visited this place and found very interesting as I got few items at very reasonable price. We often visit this place for buying all kind of items. You can also get some kids wear here.

After seeing Mettur dam was not expecting much of this place but was pleasantly surprised that we could walk on dam where we could view the Reservoir on one side and the park on the other.
There are many safe areas where you can play in the water too.
The park itself was a big one and a busy one since there were many families here. There is a child play area and some hawkers with basic food / items outside the park.
All in all - a nice place to go with family.

Heard so many things about Thali - Mini England, Little England, County weather etc etc. Did not notice anything very special. But yes the temple is located at a cliff and the view from the top is very soothing. There was a small shop in front of the temple entrance selling variety of ladoos and muri (puffed rice) at very nominal rates. Do not miss buying laddoos. Ample free parking space.
