We stopped here for breakfast during our holiday drive last Wednesday. The Ghee Masala Dosa and the vada were very good. Idli and set dosa were good too. The staff seemed friendly and service time was acceptable! Note- This place gets terribly crowded on weekends!

Good restaurant to have good South Indian food on the busiest highway. Cleanliness is little less compared to my last visit. Taste is good. Over-crowded but worth visiting.

During this christmas vacation i was driving down from blore to chennai . Our standard stop over is krishnas, mangalam or ananda bhavan based on the crowd . This time being long weekend we did not have space in any of the above popular restaurant . It was my cousin's suggestion who was travelling with me to visit this restaurant . This location is very close to the highway junction. After you take the service road from bangalore highway to chennai (ie below the bridge to salem) you reach the junction. Once you reach the junction you have to take left (not to climb the chennai highway bridge) , the road is populary called as LIC office road . The restautant is opposite to LIC office & even people can tell by name of the restaurant .
I was little hesitating to go inside because it may be occupied by local crowd & the restaurant may not be of good quality but my assumption were totally crashed after i had my first food (Idiyappam & kurma ) . The food was awesome i had atleast 4 items the quality of food was so good that i told the owner that i will write my review immediately in trip advisor . The good thing is the servers are all neatly dressed young girls and they are very disciplined & the restaurant itself was very clean and ambience was also very good . We have enough choice of getting lot of south indian (especially tamil nadu authentic vegetarian food ) ,this is bonanza for veg food lovers and the restaurant is pure vegetarian . They serve breakfast from 6.30 am onwards & lunch starts at 12pm onwards & dinner from 7.30 pm till 11 pm .The restaurant is not too big and you should be able to manage when there is good crowd . IT has got a good play area and open theatre also as an annexe . For first time you may have to come down little from the highway but it is worth doing to get the right food . Anyone who travels even from salem to blore next time can take a break here just by avoiding the Krishnagiri highway bridge . The cost factor is really very less , 5 of us with lot of breakfast items we paid hardly INR 450. I dont know how to write more it is better a visit can actually give the right feel for food lovers.
