Join us for a unique, fun packed experience on one of the world’s most awesome High Ropes Adventure Courses, boasting 38 exciting obstacles. Amaze yourself as you take each of the challenges head on, from speedy zip wires, mid air jumps, knee wobbling tight ropes and much more. The outdoors has never been this much fun. No experience or skill is required, just a sense of adventure.
Booked this as a surprise for myself and my 64 year old mother who is usually somewhat of a daredevil. When the surprise was revealed she was quite nervous about whether she would be able to manage the course, Beth and Cam were so supportive, encouraging her to look at the course prior to putting on harnesses and giving her reassurance that they would be on hand to help her. It is solely down to them that she even attempted any of the obstacles, they explained everything so well and clearly for the group. Got mother on the course but she gradually turned more and more white so after obstacle number 3 we decided to save her blood pressure and call it quits. Beth and cam were so supportive of her, helping her back and trying to gently encourage her to try again. We didn't end up going back on or even completing the course but really feel they deserve a shout out for excellent customer service!

Easy to get to, central near Sainsburys. We regularly drop by and always find something fascinating in this beautifully restored Tudor house set in child friendly Gardens. The staff and vounteers are extremely helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. A joy for children as almost everything is very hands on, from sitting at enormous banquet table with wooden plates and pewter tankards to dressing up in chain mail or gowns. Go - just drop by for a quick wander or stay for a browse and cup of coffee. When we visited they also had a beautiful display of silk work in side room. Entry free

I was completely unaware of the Gardens until we booked to see the Folksy Theatre perform here in August. We arrived early and had a lovely walk around prior to enjoying a picnic and performance in a secluded area. Lots of friendly volunteers offering assistance and information. Will be back to this hidden gem.

The Society operates a miniature railway in Abbotsfield Park since 1948 at Chassen Road, Flixton, in the Borough of Trafford, Manchester. We run every Sunday throughout the year except Christmas Day. And some Banh Holidays. Weather permitting. The railway is a continuous circuit of 2200 feet (670 metres) of raised track comprising both 3 1/2" and 5" gauges. It is one of the largest elevated tracks in the country. The price of a ride is 30p per adult or child.
Having visit Manchester with a 3 and half years old Grandson We wanted something to occupy him to past our time. Check on website for any local attraction and this one came up. It only open on Sunday and there was a lot of people...MoreThank you HungaryHopper for your review. We have put many requests to the local authorities for public toilets, but unsuccessful. There is a ice cream van that attends most Sundays. We look forward to seeing you again.

Visitors from all over the world are welcome to Old Trafford, and audio guides, souvenir guides and guided tours are available in a range of languages. We're committed to giving the same great experience to all visitors, so the tour of Old Trafford is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and the Museum has a lift to allow access to all 3 floors. Whether you're a Manchester United fan or not, a visit to Old Trafford stadium is a day to remember.
Although I'm not a fanatic fan of football, I do try to visit the stadiums home to famous football clubs around the country to since I'm already here.
The stadium is really massive. I joined the tour and it's well arranged and accommodates the group in an orderly manner.
There's no self-exploring in the stadium. Besides, you can get lost among the many doors.

I'm still buzzing from an amazing night at The Lowry. The company is made up of extraordinary talented dancers who work together to make an unforgettable night's entertainment. The audience was quite small - but more than made up for their size with the warmth of their reception. The dancers are athletic -gorgeous - musical, graceful and brave. A few stood out, but it's not that kind of company, they really are "collaborative". The programme was fascinating, the music well-chosen. It may have been altogether faultless as far as I was concerned. Why can't the Lowry generate a bigger audience for such an amazing troupe?

This is a truly lovely park, always buzzing at weekend and kept looking fantastic despite high usage. Despite not being huge it has lots of different facets and a great mix of open space and intersting plant life. Pretty much a perfect park for the town it serves.
