Friendly family run restaurant, with a warm atmosphere and amazing freshly prepared food. Great for any occasion so give it a try!
Happened on this restaurant after a poor experience at another restaurant in Newcastle. What a little gem..... great food, fantastic service and competitively price. We had the moussaka, chicken and baklava - all scrumptious and tasted authentic. Well worth a visit.

Lovely food at Affordable Prices, Warm Welcome & Fantastic Italian Music!
Saturday, 30th September, I invited my Italian Meetup group to Sapori for lunch.
What a great experience! The wide range of food was beautifully presented as you will see from the photos.
Lorenzo kindly put his Bocelli music on for us which enhanced the whole experience.
This cafe is a "Hidden Gem." Thank you to Lorenzo & his lovely staff for their warm welcome - the folded serviettes made it just SO SPECIAL!

Dined here on a quiet Sunday evening. It was freezing outside and this could still be felt in the restaurant so they had a heater on and kindly sat us in a warmer part to make dining more comfortable.
Papadums to start followed by a delicious rogan josh. Peshwari naan was soft and sweet.
Staff were very friendly and service was brilliant - not too intrusive but attentive at the same time.

Sister Restaurant To Sangreela Restaurant
Have called here many times for takeaway food and the food has always been very, good finally dined here and was very impressed. The dining rooms (up and downstairs) are small but everything is perfectly presented with decor polished and gleaming and very professional staff. The wine arrived in an ice bucket with napkined neck and was nicely chilled but the star of the show is the food, rice the best we have ever tasted, chicken and prawns (real prawns) perfectly cooked in delicious sauces.
All in all a great little Indian restaurant, one minor point:- dim the lights it's a little bright.

Stylish Indian, high quality cuisine in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Many will be familiar with the original Simla restaurant which has been within our family since 1981. The Simla has now re-opened, totally renovated with a refreshed look and feel and an updated menu. Our cuisine harks back to long established and fresh ways of preparing dishes without any pretense or gimmicks. The menu is carefully crafted and reflects our deep appreciation of historically significant dishes from throughout the Indian subcontinent.
The staff are outstanding and the food is nice but far over priced. £18.00 for the mixed grill. 1 King prawn (menu says prawns), 2 small chops, 2 small pieces of fish and a small bowl of curry. £18 is alot. Also my starter which i did mention and they took off the bill with no quibble was not nice, the herbs were still powder and the prawns did not look like king prawns, more for a prawn cocktail., was not nice at all. I dont think i will go back as there is better places out there for alot less. the food is tasty, staff are fabulous and all in the place is lovely.

We visited as a family for dinner after local recommendation. The interior is a modern design, a few tables in the quiet entrance level, main area above and a quieter top floor.
Our dinner was delightful, starting with two unexpected amuse bouche, followed by a wide range of menu choice, with many vegetarian options, and every dish an unexpected combination of flavours supporting the main components of the dish. An innovative chef is a great asset to Peace and Loaf, and ensured that we really enjoyed this visit.
