Astley Book Farm is the largest second hand book shop in the Midlands. 4000Sq feet of renovated farm steading filled with thousands of quality second hand books. Antiquarian & Collectable, an extensive Science Fiction section and barns of non-fiction, together with a well stocked Children's Hayloft and Ten-Bob Barn make this the perfect destination for the booklover. Our relaxing Coffee Shop offers a wonderful array of locally produced cake and light lunches, with a log-burner for cold days and Coffee Garden courtyard sitting in the sun. Ample car parking is available on-site. Open everyday 10am - 5pm. See our website for special events, sales and further details.
Love this place, books about everything you could imagine. If you really like browsing then you could be here all day!! The only letdown, for me and other people who’ve mentioned it, is the lack of Butter in the Coffee Shop attached. I love to lunch there but can’t have a Baked Potato, Scones, Teacakes or bread, with soup, because Butter isn’t provided. I don’t mind Clover or any margarine in cooked foods, but not for spreading on the foods I’ve shown. It won’t stop me visiting this great place but I can’t have, what I want for my lunch, for the reasons said. Please, whoever is in charge, get your act together!

We are very lucky in Hinckley to have such a wonderful amenity. The various amateur groups perform regular musicals and plays to sort all tastes, and the pantomines are brilliant. There are also regular professional shows as well. This is definatly worth a visit.

Booked a flight experience for my 10 year olds birthday and when booking with Steve he made the whole process very easy. When we arrived we were met by Adam who took our son through the whole experience from start to finish. He was brilliant...MoreSo pleased you were happy with your visit. We are really looking forward to seeing you back for your second flight! Steve

We are a Children's Play Centre based in the Midlands offering hours of unlimited fun for children aged 0-12 years old. We have 2 large state of the art play frames catering for the toddlers and juniors. A small sample of our attractions include go-karts, 6 metre drop slide, 2 lane wavy slide. rope Bridges, log ramps, ball cannons & jugglers, whirlygigs and many more! We have a cafe serving a wide range of hot and cold food choices including seasonal specials and serve barista style beverages alongside an extensive cold drink selection. Free super fast Wi-Fi and unbeatable service with a smile comes as standard.
Visited with my 2, 8 year olds & 2 week old daughter. I had brought a Groupon on for here which was £5.95 for 2 drinks and 2 plays, this was great value. Toilets and play area were really clean.
Only fault was there was nowhere to sit, plenty of tables of which all said reserved for parties, can't actually see them having this many parties.
Overall probably would recommend.

Booked a table for afternoon tea weeks ago. Turned up and hadn't got the reservation. Managed to get us a table though. The sandwiches were served on a plate individual and even some had a crust which is unheard of really. Too much butter on them for my liking. The sandwiches were served with a cheese scone which was doughy. The cakes were bought out nicely presented. However the scone again was doughy. The shortbread very sweet but the Victoria Sandwich cake nice. The latte coffee was nice but the tea better. Service left a lot to be desired too. Had to wait to pay as the guy was no where to be seen. Wasn't worth the trip out and very difficult to find.

Visitors to Bosworth Battlefield, whether they are schoolchildren, historians, leisure groups, families or leisure seeking day-trippers, can experience what this famous turning point in British history really meant. A great day out!
We belong to the English Heritage so we thought we would take the children somewhere we all will enjoy, but to my shock I still had to pay to get in to the museum part even being a member of the English heritage we got a percentage off the price I wasn’t to impressed with that part .
The rest of the day was brilliant we all learned so much you g and old .
If you don’t want to go into the museum part there’s lovely walking fields to have a lovely countryside walk with or without your dog/s .
Your tickets last for a year to come and go over the year once you have paid to get in so that’s good also

Set in a converted set of buildings alongside a cafe, restaurant, shop and theatre all promoting and celebrating 2 tone music. Felt so welcome immediately as we walked through the door. The museum offers a taste of the past in 2 tone music from memorabilia...MoreAbsolutely Fabulous review too!! Thanks

Was great to wander round. Well maintained and lots of different areas and facilities. Enjoyed watching the cricketers practice. Kids enjoyed the playpark even more! Easy to find, close to the town centre.

I received as a Christmas gift a Brewery Tour for Two at the Tunnel Brewery Nuneaton.
We arrived on a sunny January morning to find an assembled group of approx 20 people of mixed age and gender. Our designated driver (who had brought the gift) was immediately invited to tag along on the tour (with no mention of a charge) as an alternative to having to kill a few hours at a nearby craft fayre coffee shop.
The tour started with a brief history of the brewery and its location before moving into the first area where before we'd even all settled in, the first beer bottles were being opened for us to taste.
The passion and depth of knowledge of Mike, our host and tour guide, was evident. His jokes and banter entertaining. Everyone seemed to be at ease and laughing very early on.
We were shown and offered to sample, smell and taste all of the raw ingredients and also tried to guess what the dodgy looking white powder was! I'm writing this immediately after getting home from the tour and some of the details are still a little hazy! Moving into the next area we tasted some beer direct from the fermentation vessel which had been started only a few days before.
We soon moved on up the spiral staircase to the warm and welcoming bar area, where for about a further hour and a half many many more beers were opened and sampled. Nibbles such as crisps, crackers, mature cheese and even chocolate were available to complement the various beers rising in strength as the time passed to the accompanying amusing and informative tales.
Eventually (almost reluctantly) Mike made his very brief sales pitch before inviting everyone to select and purchase beer to take home, which caused an eager queue to form.
Myself, my good beer loving friend and my very understanding non beer drinking partner (who was offered/served complementary non alcoholic drinks throughout) very much enjoyed the experience and would not hesitate to recommend the tour to anyone and everyone. If you like beer take this tour. Don't forget to organise a designated driver!
