Ethos: Developing, Creating, Imagining and to never stand still. Concept: The food at Amid Palace is authentic, digging into the traditional roots, exploring the rich Indian and Bangladeshi culinary history then taking it further and evolving at the same time, releasing it from the copper lined bowls onto a plate combining different techniques, regions, flavours and textures....
Never been here before. Popped in before going to the Ricoh Arena.
When we arrived we were worried that the place was empty, not one customer.
BUT we were made to feel very welcome. We had the £9.95 deal. The food was really really nice and as we ate more and more people started to come in.
There was only one negative (hence the 4 stars), be very careful with their pricing, there is a bit of a con.
For the deal you are allowed either plain rice or plain nan. If you want anything else you have to pay the full price for the item, you cant make up the difference.
So for example a plain nan is 1.95 and a Keama Nan is £2.50. You cant just pay an extra 55p to upgrade the nan to a keama nan. You have to pay the full £2.50 and that is the same for any dish - rice, nan, sides any dish, that feels so wrong.
I would definetly go back again though. It is a very nice restarurant.

Hubby had his annual golf dinner here again. Second year running as it’s a central point for the majority.
Starters are nice, not greasy (onion bajii) lovely fresh poppadoms too.
I did say I have a fresh tomato allergy when ordering my main. And low and behold....fresh tomatoes on the plate. It may be a small thing to others, but is dangerous for me. Despite the notices up saying make them allergy aware!
Main tikka was nice. Hubby’s biriyani was average. Again nothing incredible.
There were a lot of us, but service was decent.
Not somewhere we’d rush back to.

I've used this place a few times over the years. It's generally very good with tasty food. This time i found both mine and my girlfriends meals full of salt. I've tried it again since this and again to salty and i didn't enjoy it.

We have visited three times during the past month with family over from Virginia, USA and have been very impressed with the food and the presentation.
The staff have been very attentive on every occasion and nothing was too much trouble, they even made a special sweet for my sister in law as it was her last visit before returning to the US.
The menu is extensive providing a huge choice of starters, mains and specials.
In our experience, the food and service has been excellent and we will be back next weekend!

Help Out Mill Restaurant is a family run traditional English restaurant set in the grounds of the old flour mill in Shackerstone, Near Nuneaton. The Young family try their hardest to make sure that you feel welcome and feel part of the experience.
Avoid at all costs. Booking taken along with deposits for 30 people. When we turned up the place was shut up without any explanation. No one available to answer phone calls. According to neighbours people were there in the afternoon but couldn't be bothered to let us know they weren't going to be there.

Our Family ran Italian restaurant in the heart of Midlands town Nuneaton. We have LIVE ENTERTAINMENT every Friday & Saturday night, hosting some of the greatest tributes artistes in the U.K, including a five course meal, fantastic Compère and karaoke / disco to finish. And why not make a real night of it, with the additional chance to stay in our B&B located above the restaurant if you choose to drink rather then drive or have taxis to worry about.
Another fabulous night here. It doesn’t pretend to be fine dining and at £25 for a meal, singer, tribute act and a disco it’s real value for money. The food is good....starter, main, dessert, coffee, cheese an option at only £3, crackers and even a...MoreWhat a brilliant review, many thanks. Megan & Rob our very own George are valued members of our hardworking team and I shall pass on your lovely compliments. See you in 2018 we hope.

We booked a table for a works night out for 8pm, when we arrived it was extremely busy, as we were slightly early the staff advised that the table was not quite ready yet. One slight gripe was that we had to stand in the packed bar whilst our table was prepared, we then had to ask the staff way after 8pm if the table was ready to which she replied "oh yeah", god knows how long we would have been there if we hadn't of asked! We all decided on our food and ordered at the bar, the staff advised that as they were quite busy the food would be out around 8.50 which was fine. Whilst waiting for the food, there were another party who had sent some food back, the waitress was quite blunt with them and there was not much of an apology. Around 9.00 we still had not received our food so we asked a member of staff who seemed quite reluctant to help, she just mumbled she would check in the kitchen, no apology or anything, she just said we would be next? The food eventually arrived at 9.15 by which time we had gone past being hungry, the food itself was nice, the steak was good quality and good value for money but I must say the whole experience was not one I wish to repeat. It is a shame that a place with good food lets itself down with overbooking and a lack of customer service.

I had the pleasure of visiting Anthony's Bistro for the first time last night along with my husband and friends. I have to say the food and service was excellent. We shall definitely be returning.

We have visited the restaurant twice during January and both times the food and service were excellent. Great value for such great quality meat from Frank Parker’s. Good sized portions and food lovely and hot. Also visited on New Years Eve and the hot buffet was fabulous.A great night was had by all. Just hope the new owners will provide great quality food and continue to use Frank Parker’s. Have heard on the grapevine it might be turned into a Thai Restaurant. I do hope not as we will be unlikely to visit the restaurant so often as we do. Whoever takes this over really needs to look after the current clientele.
