We had a wonderful birthday morning with Aria cruises! The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too hard. Had the most beautiful swim/float at Horseshoe Bay, absolutely stunning. Yummy lunch and smooth trip back to Cleveland. Looking forward to going again and taking some...MoreThank you so much Kate for joining us on your birthday. It was a pleasure having you. We look forward to you joining us again. Next time maybe do an afternoon cruise and enjoy the sunset on the way back.

Stradbroke Ferries offer vehicle and passenger ferry services to North Stradbroke Island. Travel to North Stradbroke Island in speed and style with Stradbroke Ferries.
Decided to spend a day on Straddie. The passenger ferry (water taxi) has a good almost hourly service. We arrived early, purchased our ticket from a very pleasant and helpful gentleman in the ticket booth. We even had time for a coffee.
The crossing was smooth and quick. The transfer bus was waiting for the ferry on Straddie to take passengers to the North Gorge Point Lookout.
This is a terrific way to explore a fantastic and scenic island. And we only got to one section! A repeat visit next time we are back in Brisbane is called for!

It was lovely and peaceful gliding around Moreton Bay on a summer Sunday morning. However, the promotional material is misleading. They describe the yacht as luxurious with 4 double cabins, etc, etc. But the cabins are not really used except to stow bags on the half-day cruise I took. And there were over 20 people on the boat. Apparently this is a common number.
Other than that, the morning was fine - fresh bread rolls, cold cuts and salad. The skipper and crew are friendly and competent. Everything happened without fuss. The food was fine. Most passengers opted to swim from the boat once we anchored at Peel Island. Four of us went on to the island - all choices were no problem to the skipper.

The Redland Museum is a trip back into the history of the Redland area in Queensland. With transport and farming machinery from the local area; historic rooms depicting early life in the Redlands; the Toy Hall of Fame and our wonderful exhibits and events, the Redland Museum is a "must see" for locals and visitors alike. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 3.30pm, admission prices are $5 adults, $4 concession, $1 children and $10 for a family of 4.
I love the Redland Museum. I discover new treasures every time I visit. There are loads of farming items on display as well as wagons, carts, cars, a steam engine, railway carriage, school room display, radios, photographics, fine China, military uniforms & medals, textiles, and even a working blacksmith shop where you might be lucky enough to watch blacksmiths at work. Lots more too! I never seem to have enough time here, so allow more time than you think you'll need and you'll enjoy your visit.

A beautiful spot with almost 360 degrees view of Moreton Bay. Plenty of parking with a central parkland, barbecues, tables and chairs and plenty of space for little ones to stretch their legs.

A multi level opulent day spa spanning over two separate dwellings. Eight treatment suites, vintage inspired lounge, open fireplaces create welcoming spaces for guests to enjoy private one on one treatments, group bookings, spa parties or romantic couples escapes. Soul pleasing treatments, massage, hot sauna, vichy shower, pedicures, high teas and impressive gift shop.
The rooms are beautifully styled making it such a lovely girly day out. I treated my daughter and myself to the 90 minute bliss foot therapy which was so relaxing. The lovely treat of sorbet was delicious. The girls were very attentive and really wanted to make sure we had a special time. We also had the high tea which, sadly, was very disappointing. The scones were dry as they had been microwaved. The other items were just standard things from a bakery - a lemon slice. chocolate slice etc and were dry and tasted a little old. The sandwiches were delicious and the tea and the China cups and teapot were lovely. Overall, a lovely day but I would strongly suggest have a high tea somewhere else as it does not complete the day on a high note.

My daughter is a crazy 2 year old - she quickly found her way from the toddler section to the big kids section and the rock climbing pit - if this were sectioned off a little better it would make it easier for parents with younger kids to keep them contained and would make things a little less stressful. She did however absolutely love the bigger kid section more than the toddler section but got stuck in the rock climbing part. Tantrums were had when told she was not to go in those parts. No outside food or drink is to be taken in, however the coffee is horrible and extra payment is needed for a 'better' coffee after already paying for entry. I feel I'd be more likely to go here (and my mothers group feel the same), if they at least had great coffee!

We hold Cake decorating and Cooking/Baking Classes. We supply Cake Decorating products.
This shop was recommended from a friend when I was looking for something specific re cake decorating. They were able to help and I must say that the service was fantastic from 2 different ladies on 2 different days. The shop could do with a bigger variety of stock. They also do classes and have seen pics which seems good.
