restaurant is modern style, both food and decoration, yet very beautiful. service was excellent, very professional on one hand and very warm on the other hand. food is very accurate, and very tasty - it is modern style - a combination of classic french and...MoreJust a real thank you for this nice comment. Sopped by on a Tuesday evening because friends recommended the place. This was a good advise indeed. We had the intermediate menu and enjoyed all four courses tremendously. Two of them were "just" excellent and the other two definitely were original and completely mastered despite the powerful mix of flavors. It was our first visit but if the chef is consistent with that level of quality and originality he should be on track for its second star. Definitely a meal to be remembered for a very reasonable price, we'll be back there no doubt.
The place itself is a bit dark although nicely decorated. Service was quick and efficient and rather friendly.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Chic modern decor and friendly but impeccable service. Five course tasting menu was a real tour de force in innovative high-end French cooking. Each course was beautifully plated and intelligently, innovatively prepared. A wonderful amuse bouche of briny watercress soup, lovely foie gras with figs, perfect fish and the most tender veal loin I've ever had. Save room for desert, the best we've had in France. Bravo!

From the outside it does not say much, but do enter for a nice surprise. The food was wonderful, seriously spiced but balanced, resulting in the kind of authentic taste very seldom found in Europe when trying Moroccan cuisine. We tried a few dishes, all were good, but the tagines were outstanding. The decor is quite beautiful and, after querying, we found out it is handmade by an artist in Fez. English language was not a problem. Strongly recommended. One suggestion for the manager: please add also white wine to the menu, there should be plenty of good ones in the region; red and rose wines were well represented.

Homemade dishes with fresh products. Wine bar with tapas. 250 bottles and 20 appellations available by the glass . Open for the bar 6:00PM / 2:00AM
Waiter (owner) was all over the place; it was quite funny to watch, he did not even know if he was full for lunch or not, eventually declined people... still, some tables were left free for the entire lunchtime. Food was ok but they could not offer rice instead of risotto (weird), menu du jour is good value for money. Wine recommendation was good, but overall service was poor. We ordered straight at the start the wine for the starter and the main; all good for the viognier for teh starter but the two glasses for the main arrived once I was done with my plate, the waiter dared asking "why did you ask for it then", i stayed calm :)

I like the concept of Subtil et The which is simple: For lunch they offer 4 menus to choose from, each offering 4/5 different things that makes a main course. No worries for those with food allergies, if needed things can be taken off one menu and replaced by something from another.
The service is absolutely flawless, kind and efficient, and their desserts should definitely be tried!
Only opened at lunch, but in summer they sometimes open their doors at dinner time as well.

A group of us enjoyed an excellent dinner at Sassoun. Outstanding flavors, and good menu selection. I love Middle Eastern food so this Armenian / Lebanese restaurant was a great find. Everything is fresh and tastes fantastic. Small restaurant setting which makes for a very enjoyable intimate dinner. I can only recommend.

Travelling across down to Marseilles, we were looking for a place to lunch.
TripAdvisor was asked to help. And the choice "bio" (organic) appeared to be an excellent one.
"An apron for two", gave us a warm-full of welcoming, and a good choice of local food.
Tasty and delicate we all enjoyed the meal. Friends and children.

We've eaten here several times and always eaten well. Interesting, varied menu. Various seafood and fish dishes as well as a good choice of meat dishes.
We've always been at lunchtime and I get the impression there are a lot of 'regulars', which speaks for itself as there is no lack of restaurants in Valence
In winter It gets a bit crowded as it's a small place without the outside Seating. Good friendly service.

It was a great pleasure to visit Franck and Delphine Harnet at Le Don Camillio restaurant in Valance. Excellent service and great food. Since there was no menu in English Franck attended to us personally, translated and explained the dishes, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We tried the Sweetbread, which is an unusual dish that we were trying for the first time, and it was really nice. We had problems getting a taxi back to our hotel so Franck went out of his way to give us a ride back (thank you Franck! :) ). We were amazed by his generous hospitably and great service. We definitely recommend Le Don Camillio restaurant.
