Really enjoyed our trip to the stunning Ligios vineyard. The whole family are super friendly and explained comprehensively how the business started, how the wine is made and then bottled. Lastly we had some light snacks of home made cheese and local sausages and tasted the wine. It was truly delicious and we bought many bottles to take home and enjoy again. If we ever visit Sardinia again, we would definitely go back.

Easy to reach by car, parking spot, you can pay the parking at the info tourist or at the market from the right of the tourist point. One hour cost 0.50 euro. Near the bar, just across the beach there is a pool. Also you find toilets, showers free of charge.
The beach is nice, water clean. Lu Bagnu is rated better than Li Junchi, though.

Nice walk in the narrow streets around the main hill.
Better leave the car down and walk up the stairs to the top of the hill where from a fortress-like construction you can overlook the town, it's port, and the coast on both sides, During the Summer it is a hot climb, and by the time you reach the top, you'll be probably soaked wet. Even inside the churches (which are all quite nice and give a true impression of local culture and history) it is not much cooler. There a few souvenir shops and several restaurants. People are nice and welcoming, it is worthwhile to stop for a bite, some drinks, continue for a short walk in the maze of small roads were around every corner you wonder what might come. We enjoyed this town a lot.

I could never believe someone can make a house in such a rock. But indeed, they can. This was very entertaining to be inside it. Expositions are also very interesting, full of local stuff with proper descriptions. Very worth the visit!

The "Terme di Casteldoria" is an absolute MUST as long as you come to the Northern part of Sardinia! One of ma favourite places here, where I go frequently, in summer as well as in winter. In summer it's phantastic to first take a bath in the warm/hot river Coghinas, then "pamper" yourself with the natural fango you can find there- smells quite awful, looks funny, but makes the skin smoothe...
I recommend to combine this tour with a trip to San Pietro Al Mare beach after the fango, because then you'll wash it all off and you will experience 2 highlights in this area in one day!
In winter I love the walk BEHIND the Hotel (it opened again only recently) that will lead you through a beautiful wood with spectacular views.
NOTE:
You will need GOOD SHOES there (no beach flip flops...;-))
The best is to spend the morning at the TERME and the afternoon at San Pietro al Mare.
The beach is just UNIQUE.

Check out the Tourist Guide 'Beaches of Sardinia'. The ratings work on symbols, with a maximum of 7 awarded, San Pietro a Mare gets a 5. There are two beach cafes opposite the only hotel here and another further away. Parking along the Promenade is tight, but free, a small carpark attached to the Church always full. Traffic wardens do operate, and make a killing if cars are parked outside of the bays. Best use the 60 cent per hour car park on the way in, and their own shuttle service. The fiat 500 stretched bitso bus runs most of the day and costs 50 cents per person one way. A great beach, terrific day out.

Great beach who loves natural and wildy Beaches. The beach is belonging to Paduledda village. The road from the village to the beach parking is concreted, but with a high slope.
Excellent view there and big waves in the see - when we visited it was also a windy day.
From the parking place to the beach you need to walk around 300 m on a nice wooden trail.
You have the possibility to go there with your pets.
There is no shower, bar or other similar things, then is better to take with you water or what you want...☺
