We stumbled upon this restaurant as returning to our hotel in Isola Rossa about 30 minutes away and what a hidden gem. We had a wonderful evening experiencing true Sardinian hospitality. They were so welcoming and our table outside offered a spectacular view as the sunset. The portions were generous and the food really tasty and although not cheap we felt offered good value. A really magical and romantic restaurant. Many thanks.

The Antica Pensione Pinna 1959 Hotel and Restaurant delight your customers with the seafood following the ancient tradition of Castelsardo . Also organizes receptions and private parties . open all the year .
I managed to book a table overlooking the beach and castle 2 nights running and was really happy with both the variety of food on the menu, but also the excellent staff who were able to communicate with me in a good way to explain the contents of certain dishes.
I have one more night in Castelsardo and my biggest dilemma is will I go for a 3rd night or risk somewhere else...

Being on holidays in Castelsardo our Must was to eat in this restaurant which I couldn't forget from my previous stay in Sardegna. Excellent food, very fresh seafruits, interesting ideas of the dishes and delicate combination of so different tastes and flavors! The design of every plate is special ! Praise Worthy vine suggestions ! The sea view from the table just takes the breath! Surely the friendly and professional restaurant team makes this place extraordinary and attractive to

typical cuisine with dishes from Sardinia and Castellanese tradition. seafood specialties with the opportunity to enjoy fresh fish of the Asinara Gulf. Do not miss the famous fish soup Castellanese and Sardinian suckling pig with myrtle.
Just called in for a midday quick meal. This is a typical Sardinian cafe: clean, nice ambience, efficient service and quick service. Everything the four of us ordered was on time and just right, from donkey steak to tiramisu. Carlo our waiter was very good and not only recommended a wine tasting afternoon but also rang ahead to check opening as it was siesta time. Would certainly come back here.

We were on a day trip to Castelsardo as the weather was overcast, and came here for lunch after Reading trip advisor reviews.
Despite the rain, we had a very good lunch.
Neither of us are big pasta fans, but the weather inspired us! For starter we had a super triple fish carpaccio, with salmon, tuna and a white fish with a delicious almond pesto.
The mains were a lobster spaghetti with tomato sauce (good) and an excellent and so tasty black spaghetti with a seafood sauce and calamari, lobster and prawns. So good I cleared my very large plate!!
For Sardinia it was good value
Staff were efficient.
We ate outside on the Terrace so did not see inside the restaurant, I imagine on a nicer day the outside will fill up quickly so may need to book.

This is a great fish restaurant. We asked for and were given recommendations as to what to eat and a suitable wine to accompany. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive yet discreet.

Very kind and warm service by nice people. Food is of good quality with focus on local cuisine. Location is a few minutes walk away from the real touristic places and I consider it as an advantage. Kind and open with children, however no toys or children corner available.

We ended up here because the restaurant next door (terrace) was completely full. We should not have don that: service was very slow and not friendly, and the food was just OK.
