Six of us descended on the restaurant this evening, had fishy starters which were excellent, followed by various pizzas, all of which were of the highest standard, witnessed by the fact nothing was left on the plates. The owner, Rafaelle, was brilliant, friendly and informative and also very professional. Very impressed with the presentation of a very nice bottle of Nepente de Oliena, in fact we ended up drinking two bottles of the same & not to mention the grappa & myrto to follow. We've been there on a couple of previous occassions & will certainly be going back again in the near future. All we can say is "Thank you very much indeed" Grazie mille a tutti!

Came across this place whilst looking at TA for somewhere good whilst on holiday locally. I sent an email to book a table that night and got confirmation back within the hour. Place is in a fantastic location overlooking the sea with views from most tables. This is a fine dinning restaurant with proper waiters and waitresses they specialize in sea food which is freshly prepared and filleted at your table. We visited twice and had different fish courses each time my wife and I could not fault the service or food. We paid around £80 for two 3 course meals with a bottle of good wine and 4 beers which in my opinion is good value for the quality of food service etc.

'No you can't sit outside. If we let you, others might follow' (my hearing doesn't allow me to be too long in crowded places like this.). In Italian I'd call the staff 'scostumati'. Everybody yells. At each other and at customers. If you don't stop them, they take away your plate before you're finished. But hey, the food is better at some gas stations so just get that plate.
Not repeatable.

The Farmhouse Holiday Monte Istulargiu is located near to Valledoria, a well known tourist place in the north of Sardinia. The farm is placed on a hill with a wonderful view over the Asinara Gulf and the Coghinas river valley. The ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday in the nature, but very close to the beautiful sea of Sardinia. In the company Monte Istulargiu, there are farm animals, pigs, and sheep from which we get meat, cold cuts and cheeses and other traditional dishes including the delicious Zuppa Gallurese, all prepared in our company and in accordance with the ancient Sardinian traditions.
Same concept as all the other agriturismo's in the area. Quality of the food is certainly above average. What makes the climb even more worthwhile is the spectacular view, overlooking the sea and the town of Valledoria. We paid 70 euro's for 2 adults, 1 child and this good selection of local food.

Fantastico!!! Superb ice cream and so many different flavours. We got withdrawal symptoms if we thought the lady was not going to open and openly wept but thankfully she did, Very nice lady as well. The ice creams were so so good. Seating area outside the shop. Only 1-50 euro for a large ice cream in a cone. Excellent value. Try the cherry my particular favourite - beautiful.

Been here a few times. Food is always excellent, especially pasta. Outside the menu you can ask for the more simple pasta's (just pomodori or penne with cream and cheese for children). Good selection of wine and friendly staff. You can find some cheaper restaurants in the area, but few are better than this one.

Although the food (regular Sardinian food) is not bad we left this place with mixed feelings. Next to dining area stray cats and dogs are walking around. One cat even tried to jump on my shoulder while I was eating. Not so much for hygein. Loud music from the radio did not make it any better. It has potential, but they really have to clean up the place.

Very good local tratoria, full of people so be sure to book achead if in the season. Be terrified by italians eating pizzas with the french fires there (yuck!) but there are way better meals than pizza patattina in that place. My recommendation is to take menu pescatore for 2 (90€). I am sure you can bring 6 people over and feed them well with it. The seafood is excellent and there is loads of it. Very much recommended.

This restaurant is situated on a hill overlooking La Ciaccia. Best place to see the sunset. Large Terrace, always lively. Food is good. Bresaola as antipasta is fabulous, same goes for the gnochetti. Good pizza as well. We went here three times and it was always good!
