The church is one of the first things that you can see in the old town of Umag. It has an unique architecture and returns you in older times. The bell tower can be seen from all over the place.
Unfortunatelly we were there by night and did not had the chance to visit it from inside. It will be the next thing to do when we return to Umag.

Nice area worth to visit. It is a nice 20-25 min. walk from the haven you can walk along the coast through the camping area. Very nice spot itself but do not expect much from the area it is a typical fisherman's village and haven - not that spectacular as Piran across the see. When nearby, worth to check it out though.

The only Museum of Shells in Slovenia and other interesting animals from ALL OVER THE WORLD!More than 4000 specimens of unusual and rare molluscs! The biggest clam in the world, pearls, crabs, sea urchins, sea stars. You can see the shell of the biggest snail in the world, shells of snails so rare that only tribal chiefs of distant Islands were allowed to wear and many more surprises ...
Shells are displayed from all over the world. A very interesting array of different types, colors, sizes. The museum docent was the best in his infectious delight about the shells and gave us a handy guide to help us go through the museum.

This is our 4th time at the Aqua Park, been going to this park every summer since it opened.
A great day with the kids , the slides are excellent , our boys did them all. Our family favorite is the "Crazy Hills". The kids always want to beat us to the bottom !
There plenty of space to have lunch , we bring our own sandwiches and drinks. However we always buy drinks there as well.
Do no miss the music band that goes into the wave pool .. excellent time!
We always go there on the Saturday's as there seems to be less crowd on that day.

We visited this place 12 years ago. In that time there was nothing, just the pans. Now we visited the parc again. Now this is more commercial, more educational. Nice place!
If you prefer the educational way ... take the entrance in Portoroz.
If you prefer the spotive way (bikes) ... take the entrance between the croatian and slovenian border.

The Kozlovic philosophy is embodied in the family's history, a family that knew how to hold together, working towards a common goal; nurturing the value of their toils, effort, resolution and competence...
We didn't manage to book a whole winery tour because the groups were full for the day, but we had tasting (3 glasses of wine for 50 kunas, which is a great price). If you are near, you should definitely stop by.

The town walls run along from one side of the peninsula to the other as a way of guarding the entire city between the walls and the sea. The walls are easily walk-able and you can climb the towers too, to get a really great view of the Adriatic and the surrounding countryside.
Really is a good experience for the minimal price.
