Amazing fish, we had scallops, tuna, bass and all were perfect. Greta waitress who upsold us more scallops and tiramasu and lemon sherberts effortlessly. Recommended by owner at Adriatic Hotel and he was right - five stars best meal of the trip. Complimenatry schnapps on departure always a good touch too

We ate here twice while we were staying in Umag. It's on the main road between Savudrija and Umag. Our family has tried pizzas, steak, and fresh pasta with seafood. All great. Pizza comes quickly, the kitchen cooks everything from fresh, therefore much slower - but was worth the wait. All the food we watched come out was well presented. Costs vary from £6/£7 for a pizza to £18 for steak and up for sharing fish dishes. Soft drinks around £2.50 for juice / fizzy. Wine £4ish a glass.
They don't rush you, you have to ask for puddings (they have pancakes, lemon sorbet and tiramisu- although not in the menu) and the bill.
The Terrace is lovely, with a light breeze, def needed in the heat.
What a lovely place to visit - they get busy around 7.30/8 - 9.30 so better to come early or late, they were turning people away in the busy period.

no known website. Listed in several other on-line reviews. Perfect for Trip Advisor: Out-of-the-way fish joint with outstanding food and local ambiance, reasonable prices for a tourist town. There may be others as good in Piran, but it's hard to imagine anything better in this genre.
Just off the main street. There are a couple signs pointing to the restaurant. Scampi soup was quite tasty. Just a hint of spiciness. We also had lightly fried sea bass and ravioli with Gorgonzola. Everything good. Small family run restaurant.

Charming interior, friendly staff, best pizza in Piran! Also serves other dishes.
The full tables and number of people waiting for a table suggested a very positive experience awaited, and so it proved to be. This is no frills - simple table settings, nothing fancy, just good solid service and out-of-this world pizzas. The best of the three restaurants that we ate in while staying in Piran.

Best things about this place is it's walking distance from the kempinski and it has a fresh pizza oven.
Average food, beer garden atmosphere very casual and not expensive
Great for a cheap night out away from the hotel but there are better an additional km away which are worth the effort

One of the best outside Seating to have a coffee or cake in Portoroz. Used to be synonym for best cakes. Maybe we are spoiled, but chocolate cake is really very average compared to what competition is offering. Unimaginative, poor in chocolate but rich in price....coffee and ice cream yes, cakes are just very average and not worth the price.

It was a freezing night in February and we were the only table. The service was flawless and the wines delightful. From the amuse bouche of tasty mousses and a fresh crab salad to a large fish for the 4 of us... Succulent and fresh from the sea... And a sensational dessert. It was an absolute pleasure.

Savudrija has been known for centuries for its fishing history. If you wish to try fresh fish, crabs, sea shells and other sea food prepared in a traditional way, then you have come to the right place. Warm staff, generous hospitality, excellent wines, gorgeous views of the port and the sea will guarantee you an unforgettable gastronomic experience. The restaurant, organized in a modern and functional way with a peaceful ambience, recalls the typical spirit of the shore. The restaurant has a Seating capacity of 90 places, 30 in the hall and 60 on the Terrace
We loved the place : a quiet and small harbour with its fishing boats reveals a great charm. Transparent clear water; you can get down over the rocks on the sea level and take a bath before going to the restaurant. Porto Salvore has a very nice porch where we had our lunch. Very fresh and tasty seafood . we tried different dishes ( both raw and cooked fish and shellfish ). Very good house wine ( malvazija istarska ) by a local small winemaker. Overall a very good culinary experience. A little bit overpriced.
