I lived elsewhere in The Netherlands and thought I saw nice cinemas. I came here and I was happy with this luxuruous service cinema. Spacious seats, 5 big rooms (4K 3D projectors and screens), and a desk attached to the chairs in front of me, with a button to summon service. No need to leave the room to order a drink or a snack, it is delivered while you watch. They could have a bit more variation in the snacks, maybe some healthy options, but I understand, it's a cinema, not a restaurant. The staff is always quick and friendly. They also have special events for children, a lady's night, and marathons (latest I attended was the Divergent-marathon).

Enjoy the quiteness and beauty of the nature in the Valley of the Meuse by taking a GPS tour on an electrically driven boat (Stilsloep).Suitable for 6 adults. No experience of permit required.
This is the perfect getaway to see the Maas from a different angle. Comfortable boat with supporting gps equipment makes your journey very simple and enjoyable. Love the concept especially as it allows people without sailing experience out on the water.

This church hails from the 12th century and has been restored extensively in the 19th century. Admission is for a fee; the Dutch annual museum pass is valid here. This church is very impressive and merits a visit when in Thorn.

This place is great for swimming, for kinds and for adult, in summer and in winter. It has 2 very long and fast water slides. There is also an outdoor pool with lawn and deck chairs for when the weather is warm. Smaller children can play in the kiddie pool and adults can swim in the Olympic sized swimming pool. Everything is very clean and modern and has a lot of natural sunlight. There are also sauna and wellness facilities but these are paid separately and we did not use them.

Boattrips Maasplassen Limburg-Holland The landscape surrounding the Meuse lakes is the ideal destination if you like aquatic sports or enjoying nature and possesses a rich cultural history.

Dumpstore Valkenberg is a surplus / new store selling great camping, marine, tools, outdoor items. Having travelled to Maasbracht from the UK to buy a boat, I was drawn to the store for some tools and a Limberg flag. What a great place. Great prices, friendly English speaking staff and the most obscure and interesting stock. If travelling to southern Netherlands, do not miss a visit to Dumpstore Valkenberg. Highly recommended.

This is a great-looking ruin, and one of the oldest Castles in the Netherlands. Unfortunately most of the area is a big construction site now. I hope they don't renovate too much, and keep it a bit authentic - then it could be great in a few years time. Entrance is only 3 euros, which seems appropriate at this stage.

Nice place to dive. A lot of objects in the water. Most of the time visibility is great. Ticket costs €9,50 per day. Equipment rental available.
