At over 2000 years old, Nijmegen has had a pretty full life. Its transition from Roman military camp to modern municipality has not been without growing pains, but today Nijmegen is thriving, largely because of its lively student population and its status as a hub for political activism. Try to visit during the internationally popular Nijmeegse Vierdaagse four-day walking festival and the epic Zomerfeesten summer party. They happen at the same time, because why not?

Came here for dinner with my family. Overall super friendly staff and service. They brought some Turkey bites as an aperitif which were delicious. My wife had the Wagu beef which was delicious. We are light eaters and it could easily be split between two people. My dad had the petite sirloin which he ate every bit of...They bring the meat before cooking it to make sure it is what you ordered and to take the cooking preferences. They also make the salads tableside which was nice. Would recommend. Wine was delicious too!!

Situated next to the worlds loudest bar, in side its a more tranquil homely sanctuary from the mayhem next door. Robust and filling dishes including steak, ribs and chops, Tournedos were stand out, and a decent selection of vegie and fish dishes. Interesting starters to add some variety. Fairly priced with a wine menu to match. Friendly staff and service. Left full; would try again if I was in town.

This restaurant is an excellent place to share time with your family eating pancakes. While most of their pancakes are not typically Dutch, they are of excellent taste.
They offer both sweet and savory pancakes. If you are not accustomed to Dutch savory pancakes, you should definitely give it a try.

EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF DINING AT DE NIEUWE WINKEL. Prepare to be surprised and amazed by unusual flavours, the pureness of ingredients, food to make you laugh out loud or that you want to savour in silence - all served in our own unique style. Welcome.
OK, this is me; if I may pick something: steak is the name. So all this veggie stuff is beyond my radar. Until I dined here. What a pleasant surprise. The texture, the small and hidden surprises, the opulent taste, the variety, too good to be true. We had the Groenten 52 (yes 52 euro's) and that gives you a 5 course dinner. You can have matching non alcoholic juices if you desire. The waiters are very courteous, likable, and know their stuff. Ever had pine needles for desert? Guess not, well at the Nieuwe Winkel it's what you get. Go there before Michelin finds out.

Although it is only a stone's throw away from our home, we had never been to Vesters. We went for dinner the two of us because de children were away. We did not regret it. The food was delicious, the service personal and friendly. We particularly enjoyed choosing our own cheeses for the cheese platter at the end of our meal. An explanation of the origin and taste of every cheese was given to us personally by the owner. Vesters is not cheap, but worth every penny.

I am a TripAdvisor writer, where I believe what people are telling about restaurant. Bistro Flores attracted me for a great recension they got, first restaurant in TripAdvisor in Nijmegen.
Is not exact true, what I got tonight, the restaurant can get max two-three stars for the following reasons:
- Good, great personal for service, nice people.
- Good ambient and atmosfere
- Good food quality, good wine ( Barolo from Italy)
- Bad, long waiting time ( 80') to get main dish.
- Bad, food quantity
- Very bad, unbelivible high price. Paid 198€ dinner for two person.
Conclusion, I will not doing again, for this price I can get better dinner , to different place.

MANNA has a special global food & fish restaurant. Our kitchen is in full swing from early morning until late evening. Culinary craftsmanship and creativity are the common themes throughout all our meals and small plates. From breakfast, lunch, high tea and drinks through to dinner. Also take time for the seafood bar and tanks at the edge of the open kitchen. Here you can choose from the day’s catch of fresh fish, oysters, lobster and other shellfish. Take your time: the kitchen is open every day until 11 pm.
I've travelled the world and eaten at many venues and sampled enumerate menus. I would absolutely make an effort to come back and have the perfect steak. Utter perfection. Superb service. Lovely velvet Merlot.
Other main courses in our party were Plaice and Cauliflower. All equally well received.
A delightful dining experience.
I can only excoriated myself for not taking a picture.

Located near the city center, this restaurant is a no nonsense place to eat. The interior is not really thrilling, but the food is just totally delicious. Huge portions of everything you order. The spare ribs are heaven, as is the salmon and huge American T bone steak. Friendly waiters and waitresses make everything run smooth. So if you are a real carnivor with a big appetite, this is the place to go. Make your reservation ahrad, as it may be crowdy especially during the weekend.
