the couple man wife are very nice and wellcoming. The menus are chosen by the chef , but excellent quality, of course small changes are possible, the restaurant is located at the pittoresque square and the restaurant is very well decorated and furnished. High quality

We had a very good diner last Tuesday, excellent fish (tarbot) and good and friendless service. Since our last visit, quality has improved (you get the sauce separately from the meat/fish), staff and owner are still very friendly and helpful. Certainly a place to visit again.

This restaurant is a design dream in a theme of Lavender. The food and service is equally as dreamy. Maybe the top of the list of several "Best Restaurant" in Maaseik. This beautiful town is very lucky in a gastronomy sense. They love their food and know well how to prepare it. Thank you for a wonderful meal with our two families.

The modern but cozy restaurant is located in the center of Maaseik, at the market place. Service is very friendly, without getting too close, knowledgeable and efficient. Kitchen is excellent, we had the Bib-Gourmand Menu which started with three very good greetings from the kitchen, a great carpaccio of beef with a delicious truffle sauce, followed by game or fish, both equally excellent and a very good dessert.
The restaurant is worth a detour.

After an afternoon in the Belgian forrest, we were longing for a good place to eat. We just strolled around the market place and found 'Tapas en zo' looking attractive from the outside and the menu on display. We were not disappointed. Great food with good quality. We took the menu, which gives you a bunch of cold tapas, a bunch of hot tapas and some more tapas with a coffee or desert afterwards. It all tasted delicious, the ladies serving us were very friendly and the place was busy but not too busy.

Cosy restaurant with special menu's. Classic or trendy. All menu's are pre-order at reservation.
I used to have a very good experience with this restaurant, but I was quite disappointed during our last visit (with the whole family). Service was below expectations, not too friendly, while prices were relatively high .... Maybe we were there on a bad day ........

The menu is rather limited, but what is served is of good quality and well priced. Basically you can't go wrong (if they serve what you'd like). I do not like the Seating outside (being on the street, and although there a very few cars passing, I do not like people looking into my plate).

Attending an event in Maaseik that weekend with friends meant a lot of us ate together in Atelier 84 on the Saturday night. Due to the size of the group we were unfortunately offered a limited menu with only 4 choices on it to assist the chef and his team. Absolutely no complaints from anyone around the large table that night, each dish was enjoyed and positively commented on. Service was friendly, helpful and very professional as well as swift, particularly with the drinks! Looking forward to a return visit in the future, very nice place to spend a Saturday evening with great company.

Located on the prettiest market in Belgium: DeBeurs, an ideal departure point to explore culturaltown Maaseik. Dinner, lunch, seminars, parties, or other meetings can be perfectly combined with a guided town walkalong the town’s many attractions. We serve local food, beers and all the wines of Wijndomein Aldeneyck. We'd like you to be part of the atmosphere of Maaseik.
Ate here on a Sunday eve. Had deer steak, scallops and spaghetti. Drank tea and a local beer. Great quality food, decent price. Nice local atmosphere. Right in the centre of the small village of Maaseik. Many locals eat here, so probably it must be good. And I can confirm this.
