Enjoy the day in one of Australia's most striking urban Beaches.
My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful day on the beach swimming in warm, calm waters. The beauty of the beach experience was further enhanced by Sculptures by the Sea. There were so many fun, creative pieces! We appreciated a bit of shade sitting under the wing of the plane sculpture. Parking was not an issue because we took Uber from and back to Perth.

The park cultivates over 13,000 species of Western Australian plants and contains one of the world's largest areas of natural bush land close to a city.
Perhaps ‘just beautiful’ is enough to say.
If you want perfect views across the Swan River looking almost 360 degrees around Perth, this is the place to come.
Perhaps have a coffee and take in the serenity of the War Memorial and some quiet contemplation of the Eternal Flame.
Wonder through the various memorials which are thought provoking and incredibly sad.
We loved the botanical Gardens. WA is known for its wonderful native plants and the Gardens took us on a great ‘plant’ journey around the state.
No trip to Perth is complete without time in Kings Park.

This is where the silver spoon people live, lovely part of the world, plenty of lawn for playing, water is safe and lots of shade, there are toilets and BBQ's spread around.

A really interesting and informative historical tour of the Leighton Battery guns at Fremantle. Tour took around an hour, mostly underground, and only $12 per adult. The tunnels are very safe and easy underfoot, no closed in footwear required. A fantastic tour, I learnt a lot about WA history, ANZAC history, large guns and ammunition.I wish I'd done it sooner. Our volunteer guide, Ian, was fantastic, full of enthusiasm and information. A well run site, thank you for the experience.

The Escape Hunt Experience is a fantastic interactive attraction in Fremantle - a luxurious themed adventure set 100 years ago where you and your team play the part of a famous detective solving the greatest murder mystery in the heart of Fremantle. You need to use all your skills as a team to find clues and solve puzzles against the clock - only then can you escape!
Our group of 5 played Poisoning in the Cafe and got out with 15 minutes to spare. The only negative was one of the clues was in a trick box that none of us could open and we needed help. Everything was really were organised...MoreThank you Kaitlyn. We are glad you had a good time and glad the puzzles suited your ability. It's hard to get a good medium between too hard/easy. See you again
