The site Barchetta now stands on has been serving refreshments to the locals and tourists for almost 50 years. First as a kiosk where children could get ice creams and beach-goers cold drinks and snacks. It then evolved into the North Cott Cafe and was "the" place for breaky by the beach. It became Barchetta in 2002 and now has a flourishing food, wine and coffee trade lasting from dawn until dusk.
This is one cafe that keeps up its commitment to providing quality food, great service and awesome views. Went there Sunday afternoon and was able to book a table. Choice of table indoors or on the deck facing the ocean. Just the best experience. Many thanks all.

Modern Australian restaurant situated on Cottesloe Beach. Providing you with professional service, fresh local produce and breath taking views.
Sauvignon Blanc, Seafood & Sunsets
Things that Western Australia has plenty to offer.
Friendly, informed staff make you welcome at this iconic glass fronted beach veranda cafe. Open kitchen with a talented team ticking off one of "S" boxes with good quality, well presented & tasty food. Small well stocked bar with minimalist wine list to tick another "S" box off. Nature brings the "S" home with the ever changing clouds & colours combinations of the sunset.
Scallops, Mussels & Oysters are highly recommend to start with the Crab Linguini,Barra or more Mussels for main.

Ate here with friends on a Sunday evening. We were served by a lovely waitress who couldn't have done enough for us. We had tasty food beautifully presented. Only downfall about our experience was the english spoken mangeress/hostess. The few interactions we had with her she came across cold, unfriendly and like she couldn't be bothered. Its a pity as the establishment and other waitress was nice. That type of attitude would put me off from going back.

On a stunning Perth summer day we enjoyed a seafood platter at this iconic restaurant
Service was quick, cold and hot shared platter was quite generous but I thought the fish in the taco was over crumbed and tough
Deliscious side of roast pumpkin and the garlic bread tasty and unique
Haven’t been here for years but the tranquil calm of the river location makes up for anything Nice memories

Like many popular eateries, Galileo likes to get you in and out very quickly. If you book early, as we did, expect to be shuffled out within 2 hours. That said, it was worth it.The food was great - except the side dishes. We wanted green vegetables - do not go there. Pretty rubbish really. There is a lack of simple greenery so go for the fabulous meats and pasta.

Tsunami serves authentic Japanese food using fresh Australian ingredients. Local tuna, Australian salmon, WA north west prawns, SA wagyu beef and more. Chef Tetsuya Sakamoto has experience in Tokyo, Dubai, Melbourne (Nobu) and Perth. There is a teppanyaki bar next door. Bookings and confirmations can be made online at web site. Tsunami is open 7 days a week from 5pm onwards. It is suitable for functions with many private rooms. Sizes from 16 persons (teppanyaki) to 250 (venue function). Tsunami is 750m2 in size with al fresco areas also.
This restaurant and location doesn’t exactly have much atmosphere, but staff are pretty attentive and food service is quick. There is reasonable level of choice. Serves are reasonable size and more importantly, everything we ordered tasted good. There was too much onion in both the sukiyaki dishes, just don’t eat too much! Beers were good but
only a small selection. Wine choice was fine. Restaurant for that occasional Japanese meal, it’s pricing is reasonable.

Perched above the sand dunes of the famous Cottesloe Beach, The Blue Duck is an iconic restaurant that has uninterrupted, panoramic views over Rottnest Island and the Indian Ocean. This busy restaurant is the heart of the local community and the place to go for those in the know. With its relaxed atmosphere and friendly professional service, it's the place to enjoy a coffee or just a glass of champagne. Catch up with friends and watch a glorious sunset over a turquoise ocean enjoying dinner with a beer or bottle of wine.
The Blue Duck has always had one of the best views of any restaurant we have enjoyed. That and the excellent service haven't changed. However, the food and coffee have both improved. The food, in particular, is more interesting, enjoyable and better presented. My Turkish eggs were excellent!
We will be back and now will also pleasantly anticipating the food.

Visited 2 Fat indians with friends using Groupon Voucher. Service was first rate and the staff could not have been more attentive. Complimentary Papadums to start followed by an two mixed platters to start and 2 main courses between four, which was ample. Main meals were well prepared and tasty with lots of meat in both the chicken dish and the lamb dish. Very good value with groupon, the only down side is that the restaurant is quite noisy as there is little noise absorbent material on the walls/floor.

I was taken to Chez Pierre by family and now been back a second time as it is a gem of a restaurant.
I can see why it has stood the test of time and it is obvious that most of the diners (and the place is usually full) are regular customers.
The ambiance is very welcoming with the lighting and music at just the right levels and the décor tasteful.
The service is outstanding. Friendly, polite, prompt and attentive which makes you feel right at home.
The food is the star of the show though. There is a good variety and reasonably priced for French fine dining.
But the quality and flavours are fantastic. The meats are perfectly cooked, the portions just right and the sauces are just perfect.
There really is nothing I could fault here.
Both times I have been watching the private dining room which holds about 12 to 20 people, so thinking of my next special occasion to make use of it.
I am now a big fan of Chez Pierre and hoping to make it a regular stop.

We spent a day at Cottesloe and started with breakfast here. Ended up going back for dinner. The huge winner here is the staff- happy friendly and really professional. The food was excellent and the wine list amazing. Not super cheap but it was a public holiday so we expected to pay more. We'd go back in a heart beat.
