We visited Anton's after Reading the reviews (some glowing) here on Trip Advisor. I'm afraid we were annoyingly underwhelmed. The service wasn't particularly good; slow and humourless. The food was average. Our mixed grills were a sum of some beautifully cooked cuts of meat; chicken breast, steak and pork fillet. However it was accompanied by a strange selection of sauces none of which really married or did the meat justice - a tomato salsa and a thousand island dressing. Had it been served with a selection of mustards or a mustard or peppercorn sauce it could have been delicious. As it was it was a little dry and on the verge of boring. We were brought a complimentary limoncello at the end of what turned out to be a very long evening which was lovely and the waitresses were pleasant enough. It's just we've eaten in better places with better staff and the whole place just lacked atmosphere. So it was ok but we won't be returning any time soon.

We tried having lunch here for a taste of some american food and a stop over after doing some white water rafting. We had burgers a steak and some curly fries. We enjoyed the curly fries but we have to dig in and remove a lot of garnishings on the burger to get to taste the patty and enjoy the burgers. Burgers are average and a bit pricey 10+ euros each without the side orders. The ambiance is great and I would say that the food may appeal to some.

My wife and I ate dinner here in August 2017. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, despite asking repeatedly where it had got to. The staff were rude and dismissive. Eventually our food did appear (it was rather disappointing, with the pizza base undercooked and soggy). The waiter eventually agreed there had been a mistake and offered us a free dessert in compensation. However, when we asked for the bill the dessert was charged at full price! Avoid this place if you possibly can.

Excellent food, though, given the overall atmosphere (incl service), definitely overpriced. You are force fed a medley of pseudo-folklore music (turned down on request). The aesthetics of the place are rustic, but not original, a hodge-podge of peasant artifacts of yore obviously meant to convey 'authentic tyrolean atmosphere' (come on!). A. Hofer, whom many seem to hold in great respect there, deserves better. Perhaps give M. Gaismayr a shot & write a new aesthetic constitution for this restaurant.

We went there 3 days in a row and ate probably most of the menu. Food quality was incredible. All dishes made of local ingredients, and all Tyrolean specialties including their knodels, graukase and others (sorry forgot those names). Restaurand is placed in coutryside, but you have to got through the forest. It's location is idyllic. I will come back for sure. It has two serving rooms but they are not very large, i think it is about 12 tables all together.

Today after a long Trip with the hole Family by Car and we also spend a long time in the traffic jam. we made a stop in Lähn, because we were searching for a toilet and lunch. And we found a nice traditionel restaurant called Land Gasthof Krone.
Good Food for normal Price.

Dinner at the hotel is included as part of our room booking and included a delicious multi-course menu of regional delicacies and great meat and wine. Only criticism is that although we had been told that a table would be ready for 8.30 and we arrived on time, the restaurant manager had not been informed and was very flustered at the situation and had to check with the reception first. We were then asked to sit at the bar and received a complimentary drink. However, we still ended up waiting till 9.15 to finally get a table although we saw that 2 tables were set and ready on the Terrace for quite awhile (once of which ended up being ours). This had the result that our waitress eventually had to chase us for orders and race us through our courses. The restaurant was busy however, the staff needs to learn to communicate and allocate better. Nonetheless the food was great and the view from the restaurant is breathtaking.

Stopped off for lucnh on our way back down the mountain. Sun was shining so we sat outside and admired the view. The waitress was very friendly and helped us the the menu. We chose kaese spaetzle and tiroler gröstl and a couple of beers. Both came with a salad. Both dishes were huge and really tasty. We couldn't finish them but got doggie bags to take back to our apartment for dinner. Yum yum!
Price was also very reasonable.

Lovely ambiance, friendly, efficient staff and good quality food. Wide menu choice also. We had three courses only because it was all tasty. Prices no higher than everywhere else we ate but a clear step above. Made an enjoyable end after a great day's skiing. Plus extensive wine menu.

We went in a group of 10 and were given a table in the corner. It was a very cosy and typical Austria chalet feel. The host greeted us as old friends and spoke good English.
Food was outstanding and every one of our group had an excellent meal without exception.
Host kept the water topped up and even gave us complimentary snapps.
