Treated my daughter and her 4 friends all aged 14 for pizza/pasta at Galileo cafe Mitchelstown it was a birthday treat ... While the food was lovely ... They filled the girls a glass of orange or 7 up or Coca Cola out of a Ltr bottle and charged €2.60 a glass .... A Ltr bottle of these drinks in Dunnes tesco etc is €2.19 ... These were the bottles that were being used to pour the drinks The girls had 2 drinks each not even half pint glass per drink it cost a total of €26..for 10 glasses of mineral ... U can bring your own wine to this restaurant....just people be aware ...

Our hosts in Ballinwillin House recommended The Market Place amongst a couple of other restaurants. And they were right. Reasonable prices, good food and good service. A very good combination by anyone's standard. I had a gorgeous linguine with pesto and scrumptious prawns in garlic...MoreThank you for your nice review. It is always nice to hear positive comments. Hope to see you whenever you are passing again. Regards, John

we found the hunters very welcoming with plenty of tables and plenty of lovely staff. The menu was huge with plenty of fab food to choose from. Out waitdress was very accommodating and the food arrived out very quickly so perfect if you are against the clock. The portions are very big and the waitress even asked if we had enough of everything. The food was great, piping hot and plenty of flavour. I would recommend the hunters to anyone and I look forward to going back myself.

We were recommended to this eaterie from someone in Ballylanders just up the road. What good advice! This place just cannot be too highly rated. A simple but clean and welcoming ambience, good varied menu, very reasonably priced, charming staff, (especially Kathy and Lindsey) and beautifully cooked fare with generous portions. I chose veg soup, beef with mash & veg, while my companion went for the salmon platter. A huge potion of fruit pavlova and tea followed. You would not get as good in the Shelburne, Dublin, as I discovered to my cost. Worth driving through Mitchelstown for the experience! Thank You O'Callaghan's!

This is a bed and breakfast with restaurant and bar on Baldwin st Mitchelstown. It used to be very good for food and drink but the business has really gone down in recent years. It is an outlet we would not be going back to again, the service, the food, In fact there is nothing l could recommend about the ramble inn at this point in time.

I had 2 evening's out at Thatch and Thyme recently and have absolutely no complaints from either. The food both nights was fantastic - so tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is great and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Thatch and Thyme for good quality, tasty food.

We stopped here for a bite of lunch on our way to Dublin. Its right in the centre of town facing the square, so plenty of parking right outside. The food was the tastiest I have had in a long time. I'm coeliac and they were well able to cater for me. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the bathrooms are upstairs so if you have mobility problems this might be an issue

Called in for lunch over Christmas. I had the balti with prawns. The curry was freshly cooked and the nicest I've ever had. Good sized portion with rice and poppadom. I will return to Blueberries.
