Atlantic AirAdventures is an Aviation Education Flight Simulation Centre and Aviation Museum located on the Wild Atlantic Way, just 5km from Shannon Airport Co Clare Ireland, 15km from Limerick city, and 15 km from Ennis Co Clare. Visit our website for more info.
Atlantic Airventure is a mixture of an aircraft museum and a hands-on cockpit simulator in which boys, and very much older boys, can pretend that they are pilots for a short time. There are preserved aircraft to see up close including military jets from the UK and Switzerland.

Join the Earl of Thomond for a glorious banquet at this majestic 15th century Bunratty Castle. The Earl’s Butler welcomes guests from the four corners of the world toasting an era of great Irish taste with excellent food, fine wine and honey mead.
This was an optional dinner with a tour group and those of us that went had a splendid time. From the greeting at the entrance to the pre-dinner mead and singsong then into the dining room for a grand dinner with wine flowing and more singing, beautiful harp playing and then being piped out at the end.
It was a lot of fun and something memorable. The castle was stately and the costumes beautiful. Certainly well worth the price especially when you compare it to what you pay to see a concert, play or even sports event back home.

Transformed into a luxury hotel in 1962, this castle is a magnificent Renaissance structure built in the 16th century and once served as the royal seat of the O?Brien clan.
Stunning grounds and Gardens. Well appointed and pristine dreamlike hotel. Gorgeous castle to explore - so take advantage of the Gardens and walks. Top notch dining rooms and royal treatment the entire visit. Lovely carriage ride tour about the property. Spa treatments and Golf are available. Read another review including a hawk tour - that would have been fantastic!

They take you on a tour through their grounds which comprises of different terrain and tell stories and are truly engaging. Oh yeah, theres a castle right next door! It truly was one of my highlights. When you visit Ireland, do yourself a favor and visis Castlefergus Equestrian!

unratty Castle & Folk Park is a must on your itinerary to Ireland. This is your chance to experience a window on Ireland’s past and explore the acclaimed 15th century Bunratty Castle and the 19th century Bunratty Folk Park. Bunratty Castle Welcome to Bunratty Castle, the most complete and authentic medieval castle in Ireland. Built in 1425 it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendor and now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries, and works of art which capture the mood of those times. Bunratty Folk Park Enjoy the sights, sounds tastes, scents, of this enchanting place as you stroll from house to house or around the charming village street complete with school, post office, doctors house, hardware shop, printers and of course McNamara’s pub! meet the village characters, sample some freshly baked bread by our resident Bean an Ti's (woman of the house) and for little visitors explore of quaint fairy village and pirate adventure playground
We visited here since it was close to the hotel and had lunch twice at a good pub across the road (separate reviews). This is a large complex which also has a recreated folk village, a farmhouse (not open) and two very friendly, calm resident wolfhounds which we met. The weather that day started out windy but sunny and with a half hour turned to cold hail. No one was surprised when I told them this later that day; there it can be four seasons in one day. All part of the experience which was great. It must be loads of fun when it's warm out.

This club is well located right next to Shannon Airport and the accompanying hotel. However if you are a little more adventurous there is better not far away in Clare.
The bar is comfortable and well stocked but seems lacking in "what makes a bar special".The locals love it and there are activities but not necessarily at dates that suit the tourist trade.Overall, worth a visit but that's about it.

I had emailed a few companies looking for prices and tours. Joe was the only one to get back to me with complete details and options. I can't imagine my trip to Ireland without his wonderful service. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Each city he brought us to he would recommend restaurants and pubs. I can't wait to get back to Ireland and I will definitely be contacting Joe again.

Oh this was a wonderful place! Very well done. They have brought in authentic historic dwellings of different types, from a simple 1800s farm dwelling of the west Ireland area, to the large minor gentry home. It is set up such that you feel you are walking around an authentic village. My daughter, nearly 20, was very interested and thought it a great experience.
They have docents baking bread, churning butter and separating milk and cream in the traditional ways using the authentic old tools, pots and fireplaces. It's just a delightful place!
