It is really a Cool Bar! This is one of my favorite places in town. Great coffee, nice surrounding... I gave it four stars only because one of the waiters is quite rude and it had never happened to me that I got the same stuff that I ordered and got accused for it all the time when complaining. Wonder why is she still employed here :(

Small restaurant located close to the city center. The decoration is "wild" you feel yourself like in the hounter's house. The staff was very nice, and helpfull.
The portions were huge, and the quality if the food is excellent.
I propose the Hubert for families, and for couples, but not for vegetarians, because it is not the place of fitness!

I had a good ham and eggs, and freshly squeezed pineapple juice which was delicious, they also prepared an iced tea for my wife with very little sugar, which pleased her. They speak good English and German, and were keen to please with a nice manner. Tables very wobbly so easy to spill drinks (I discovered!)

Ok, this is a place that sells food by its look ;). The restaurant supposed to be top notch according to its outlook, but the food! It is everything but good, I wouldn't say even average. The menu is boring and they somehow manage to prepare even the most common meals in a manner that makes you wonder, if the chef had a very bad day, the ingredients are not fresh or something went very wrong in the kitchen. It might be a pleasant place to grab a cup of coffee, otherwise not worth a cent.

I had a great meal here the day after arriving by kayak. The restaurant even looked after my boat overnight. I had a very large portion of chicken and pasta, terrific Greek salad and several coffees. It was a bargain, and the staff were friendly and spoke good English (my Slovak is not very good!) I highly recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant with great location, completly away of city. It took about 7 min to drive here from centre of Komarno. Fully worth to give extra effort.
Menu is very well balanced, all international foods prepared on very high level. Pricing is friendly for value you get here.
All choices we have tried were excellent. Especially Ceasar salad and sweet choices I will remember for while.
Service is way above local standard.
Practical remark: On Sunday is place opened till 18.00 p.m. On website is pubished Sunday till 20.00.

The personnel was friendly. I had a fish soup which was excellent. The surrounding of the restaurant is beautiful as it is built in a bastion. The decoration was however less successful. Perhaps because it was a cold weekday, the place was deserted, there were moments when I was the only guest. It has a nice Terrace but it was too cold to try it.

We stopped here for dinner as we were staying in next door Litovel pension house. The service was quick, food was great tasting and the portion were more than adequate to the price. Friendly lady who served us. Offer of drinks was good - as we are from UK we had local Slovak beer :))) I can recommend Bakony meal.

if you are a fan of fast foods visit Tripls.For me its a average fast food very similar like Mcdonalds but cheaper.Great for takeaway coffee..:)
