We had a business lunch in this place and one of the best things of this restaurant is the marvelous location besides the beach. At noon, you are surrounded by the turquoise transparent water and craddled by the noise of the waves on the side.
The food is very good and reasonable by Barbados standards. It is a sophisticated version of bajan food plus international. Service was very good and they managed to give quick service to a large party

Benvenuti a Mama Mia!This little nest of Italian delight based on the south coast of Barbados is a favourite with both locals and tourists alike. Mama Mia provides an intimate and authentic slice of Italian heaven right here in Barbados.Upon entering our restaurant you are greeted by Mama Giuse who welcomes you to her home away from home. You can then head straight to each food station and choose from either our paninis, salads or our hot food specials which change daily. If you fancy something extra special then you may want to try our pizza station equipped with a traditional Italian pizza oven! Our lovely staff will take your order and you can sit down and relax. You can settle your bill later. Mama wants to make sure that first and foremost you are enjoying yourself and her food.In a rush? Then feel free to give us a call and we will prepare food for you to collect to take with you! However you choose to enjoy Mama Mia's restaurant, we know you won't be disappointed.
Visited twice, once for an evening meal and once to pick up a couple of takeaway pizzas. The food was all good, freshly made and the service was good although on both occasions, the place was packed out & so clearly popular. This was to a degree reflected in waiting times. However, if you’re not ready for this to happen in most places, you haven’t got used to Barbados yet.

Serving breakfast and lunch, lattes, cappuccinos and delicious smoothies..Try our full English breakfast..Yumm!!
That has to tell you something. The food is really good. Our last visit with friends involved full English breakfast and service matched the food. Friendly, unassuming location in the Gap and they do an excellent job. Recommend.

Near Accra and Rockley Beaches try this restaurant for Roti and other Barbadian dishes. Very friendly service and good prices although the banks beer was the expensive side for a small restaurant. Note also the credit card machine was broken so make sure you have...MoreWell we can report that the credit card machine is fixed and working well. Thanks for your support & wonderful review.

Tapas does not look much from the road side but the restaurant overlooks the beach. We had fish cakes/albondingas/chicken samosas/hummus trio and 2 beers for BD$83 (US$41.50). we are not big eaters and this was quite enough food for us. You can always order more! Everything was fresh, well cooked and tasty and the view is great.

Set in the middle of a residential estate this is an amazing local restaurant. Not fine dining by any means but a rustic shack with a great atmosphere and fantastic local food. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the service was excellent.
Highly recommended but be prepared for something different!

On the Boardwalk in Hastings
On boardwalk by the sea front this is a great spot for early evening food and drinks. They also do live entertainment on certain nights (not sure which nights). 'Pub food' type menu our food was average but a great spot for drinks.

Great ice cream, friendly ladies. We’ve been going there for years now every time we visit Barbados. We drive there each evening for the 3 week duration and buy ice cream. Great selection of flavours and toppings and nice to sit outside and eat
