Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Very friendly service and all food freshly cooked to order. Opposite the Train Park which is a nice place to eat a take away.

Wander around the grounds and learn about the raspberry industry, then head back into the cafe and enjoy the wonderful foods and fresh raspberries products which are on offer. From a traditional milkshake flavoured with real raspberry syrup, to pancakes and ice cream topped with fresh raspberries, or a cream tea featuring raspberry jam and homemade scones, you can sit by a real log fire while relaxing in the cafe before going on to the gift shop to purchase something from the huge assortment of raspberry merchandise. Whether it's an ice cream, chocolate dipped frozen raspberries or jams, sauces and syrups, there is bound to be something that you want to take away with you.

After a long day's travelling we were pleasantly surprised to find this friendly restaurant where my partner's gluten intolerance was catered for without any difficulty. We would recommend it as a place for a good meal with friendly service for anyone travelling through Deloraine.

Called in here Sunday morning in Deloraine as surprisingly quite a few cafes were closed. We made the right choice. Great coffee, egg bacon and lettuce toasted Sandwich was excellent, also a larger cooked breakfast with mushrooms etc great. Eggs tasted terrific, gluten free cakes also very good, we bought extra to take away.

Wow. Wow. Wow. What an absolutely amazing place ! One of the best place I have ever eaten in. The menu was extremely varied and the meals were reasonably priced.....and very delicious. The toilets are clean and so great. The whole experience was fantastic and we went back again a few days later.

We went for lunch at the cafe and had the most amazing seafood in a filo basket with creamy sauce. Highly recommended very nice. Followed by a stroll through the lovely Gardens, a perfect way to spend a beautiful Tassie day. A little suggestion, it would good if the tree types were labelled, there are some amazing trees here

What pub has no tap beer??? That was only the start. We waited over an hour for our main meals and half way through eating they randomly turned the lights on to bring another table their birthday cake. We couldn't even see our dinner. They soon after cleaned up the self serve area before we were done so to bad if we wanted seconds. Then they cleared all our plates when there was still 3 people
On the table still eating. Just rude and not at all considerate

Can't remember how many years it has been since I had a real old fashioned hamburger and the Amble Inn seems to have them down to a fine art. Ordered the Mega Steak Burger (think that's what is was called), and definitely wasn't disappointed. Freshly made to order-perfect steak, perfect bacon, perfect egg, perfect cheese, perfect tomato, mixed variety of lettuce, heaps of yummy fried onions and forget what else-just brilliant. Bun was so incredibly fresh you'd think it was also just baked ! For around $9.50, worth every cent as so HUGE it was impossible to get my mouth around it.
The young teenage male serving had impeccable manners, a lovely welcoming smile, and the owners should be very proud of him.
Ordered some home made slices to take away-the jelly slice was a bit bland but the chocolate peppermint slice was to die for.
Very quaint café, sort of looks stuck in the 70's due to the black and white check decor but it works. Plenty of Seating, all serving and cooking areas clearly visible to customers, very clean, home made products for sale ie sauces and jams, Seating also available on footpath, and takeaway available.
Will definitely return.

Road trip from Strahan to Bridport. Holidaying from Queensland, midmorning stop for the best coffee if a weeks worth of milky weak ones. Accompanied by the tartest/sweetest/crispiest berry pastry and pack of delicate x 5 sandwiches to go. So refreshing . Will go back for their pies and report back.

Stopped for a coffee and pie
Had a gorgeous venison pie and cappuccino, mint slice was great
The youngest waitress was nice, the other one forgot to smile or to say good bye
Was surprised to see so many cars outside and nobody inside
All the best car spots are taken by the employees obviously, just at the image of the service, not customer centric at all
A shame because products are great
I would have liked to be informed of the daily special pie that were interesting but not mentioned when taking the order
