There is not that much choice for restaurants in good old Beauvais. On a rainy evening one feels even less ready to go around town. Les Vents d'anges (the wind of angels, but also a wordplay on "vendange" or grape-picking for wine) serves a fairly traditional menu (but where else in Beauvais?) with good portions (indeed a bit pricy), but one only needs the main course as it's good. Wine is served by the glass (or the bottle of course) which can be handy. Service is efficient and the owner does the tables too and is in for a chat when you ask him. Quite a busy place, even on week-evenings, so perhaps better reserve.

The menu was 21 euros and we had an amazing homemade tart with a salad. I got tilapia for my main course and that was great with a potato tart, squash vegetables and also pumpkin puree. The dessert was a lovely parfait. This was a very nice place with great food.

We have visited just last night. What an amazing experience. One of those hidden gem, small restaurants with amazing charm. Got there by accident, our 3 year old Daughter wanted to eat some Italian food, so we detoured to Beauvais city center on our way to Beauvais-Tillé airport.
I’m so glad we did, food was amazing, very well presented, reasonably priced and so tasty! We all loved our pasta and pizza dishes. Service and waiters were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant have an amazing courtyard where you can enjoy nice weather. In our case sunset dinner.
We will be back in heartbeat! I can’t recommend it enough!

Vietnamese jewel.
Fabulous friendly service from chef patron and all staff. Food magic, just tell them your preference and they cook from the heart.
Gorgeous appetisers with fresh vegetables and shrimp, stunning duck and chicken in lovely little dishes with best rice ever, then little sweet treats with banana, ginger..
Nothing not to like. Really good, will be back!

It was recommended by our airbnb host and it appeared to be quaint and a short walk. Prices weren't too bad and the portions were large BUT. Our experience has been that the French make great sauces but the meat they put them on leaves a lot to be desired, especially the beef. The eggplant appy was good, as was the veal but the steak was so tough and stringy that it was inedible. They could do far better. If you go there be careful what you order.

Our Lebanese family restaurant offers to you a traditional, colored and generous cuisine. Our recipes are authentic. All mezzes and grills are typical and come along with arack, lebanese blond beer or local fruit wine produced in the Beqaa Valley. Voyage and warm welcome guaranteed.
Talking to the owner/chef he said on sentence that summarized everything:"this is a family restaurant, this is the food that we eat, I can't but serve the best possible quality". Food was as tasty as what I had in Lebanon before .

...that's what they advertise and that's what it is. No haute cuisine, but classic French dishes like foie gras or steak of beef or deer. All of this well-prepared with only minor flaws (e.g., the salad dressing tasted as it was convenience food). Followed by a sorbet, a cheese selection (average by French standards) and a dessert (also only average). Service was friendly and immaculate.

Super accueil, très chaleureux.
On mange frais et bon, des mets turcs bien élaborés.
Viandes grillées, légumes aussi.
Copieux et bon rapport qualité-prix.

We intended to eat here one lunchtime in February. But when we arrived, at about 1,20pm, the owner told us 'there is nothing left to eat'. Which came as a bit of a shock. It looked very much a light lunch, soup and salads kind of place. Fortunately she recommended us to Les Vents d'Anges (the wind of angels) which was just 2 minutes up the street.

A family gathering before the kids go back to university. Asparagus for starter , then pollock fillet with morille mushrooms and to finish off a lovely chocolate and raspberry dessert. A bottle of Sancerre , great service and ambience.
What more could you want?
224€ for four people.
