I was actually referred to Stable Massage by my pilates instructor, and I'm very glad I followed up on her recommendation. I'd done remedial massage at another place previously, and found it a bit brutal to be honest. After an hour of intense pain, I then had bruising & pain in my legs for days afterwards. But at Stable Massage I had a half hour myotherapy session with Sachie - and it was just the right amount of pressure. I felt great afterwards and am looking forward to my next session.
I also really, really like that you can book online!

Don't be put off by the down-at-heel appearance of this local pub. (I've been going there for about 20 years and seen it through many transformations. It now badly, badly needs a reno.) Still, if you're up for a quick meal you'd be happy with the fare served here. My barramundi - plus chips and salad - was not, mercifully, in batter. It was perfectly grilled. My partner was likewise happy with his bangers and mash. Cheap and cheerful.

I’ve been going to this local sporting club that has a 100 plus year tradition though the grass is synthetic , the old clubhouse rebuilt and only the timber panelled boards reflecting champs past and present give a hint of the tradition
So sharing a roll up with a few friends whilst downing a few frothies and indulging in a bbq of sausages wrapped in fluffy white bread with a solid dash of the ‘ol dead horse’ - tomato sauce for those uninitiated
It’s always had me perplexed that as a barefoot bowler we get ‘deadmens balls ‘ - old members passed on who leave their gear to the club - but often these things have more bias than a one eyed Collingwood supporter
The true bowlers use these straight line things that bend about 6 inches - so just as in golf where pros have yardage plus flag placements the real bowlers get all the advantages
So a family or friends outing amongst the delightful Edinburgh Gardens and only a few kilometres from the heart of the CBD
Mick Molloy’s crackerjack personified.

Established in 1873 and reopened in 2015, The Empress Hotel is a craft beer venue that offers a modern spin on traditional pub fare.
We have been here a few times, once before the refurb and a couple of times since. This place is excellent. A really well done refurb and great beer garden and outside Seating. The meals were sensational and a great range of meat lovers and vegetarian meals if that's your penchant. I had a yummy hamburger and my partner had the antipasto which was a huge serve. Our besties had a steak and a pizza and other friends have had the risotto and the fish. We will definitely be going back. Whether it's just for a drink or a meal or both. They've got it covered. Cider on tap and some great house white and by the bottle.

The Thomas Kidney Reserve is on the Capital City Trail and is located near Rushall Railway Station. It has a hill and a lot of native vegetation, but not quite enough to get lost in. There is a dirt path through it with connection to the community garden and there is Seating at the peak, from where you can look over the railway as it crosses the Merri Creek.
