Yiwu (simplified Chinese: 义乌; traditional Chinese: 義烏; pinyin: Yìwū) is a city of about 1.2 million people in central Zhejiang province, China. Its built-up (or metro) area made of Yiwu and Dongyang cities was home to 2,038,413 inhabitants at the 2010 census. The city is famous for its small commodity trade and vibrant market and is a regional tourist destination. Although administratively Yiwu is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jinhua, it is better known than Jinhua internationally

Open every day all year long. From 9 am to 5:30pm. All shops start closing 5pm. Stay in a hotel near the market. Trafic jam in the morning and evening can be a problem. Several hotels near the market. m I've been to Futian market about 10 times in the last 5 years. If you looking for medium low quality products and small quantities, you may find some good deals here.
You can find good quality products if you search well. The place is just HUGE. Be prepared to walk and depending of what you are looking for, better save 2 to 3 days for this place. Last year's open some new eating options inside the market and also on the streets around. Although most options inside the market are Chinese food. Have some coffee shop inside also.
Better have a good breakfast and leave the market around 4 pm to eat at some good restaurant at the city and avoid traffic jam.

It is large park along the bank of Yiwu river. It is very quite here, so you can have some relax without chinese noise.

In the evening....after a long tiring day in the futian market, you can relax & take a long quiet walk besides the Yiwu water lake, listening to music on your Ipod, watching people walking with their dogs, family, looking at the beautiful sunset....it is a very nice & awsome feeling....making you feel at complete tranquility with nature.

A big mall for clothes
Different floor have different clothes
One floor is just for women clothes one is just have kinds and one is just for Mens
The grand floor have anything
The prices are common and most goods have cheap quality
Need 2 days to see all shops
Most seller can speak English but very bad

Like most people visiting Yiwu , we came here to buy the usual offerings the gigantic Futian market has to offer .
After so many days of visiting booths , we were all just plain tired of the blatantly polite commercialism and needed a breath of fresh air .
We certainly found that breath of fresh air in both the physical and mental sense at Songpu Mountain .
From the small typical village with wonderful and happy people at Mountains edge where we parked , we set out on a wonderful and hardy hike .
The trails were in good shape and make sure you check out the Waterfalls and the catwalks .
Without giving away too much , we just want to strongly suggest that you'll get a different and rare perspective of Yiwu and be more refreshed for your next battle at the market . Don't miss it !!

I go here in the morning to walk sometimes. You can see older chinese playing traditional instruments and doing Tai Chi some times I join them they don't seem to mind. It's a nice peaceful place in yiwu that is very safe.
