BeFreeToDive invites you to dive into the submarine world by the means that is most adapted to you: an introduction to scuba diving or snorkeling freely to the surface ! Or even by the most natural means: how about discovering the pleasures of free diving ?The notions of pleasure, discovery and security are at the heart of healthy diving and this is exactly what defines BeFreeToDive’s activities
In the summer of 2016 I participated in a 2-day freediving course led by Jerome. I have some freediving experience already, and in my oppinion the course was very valuable to both new and experienced freedivers. We started with training on land and in the pool, followed by two days of great freediving in the mediteranean that allowed me to reset most of my personal records! I hope that I will get the chance to return. Highly recommended!

The home of Auguste Escoffier is a now a museum with several exhibits on this famous French cook, considered by many the father of modern culinary art.
If you love French cuisine, you have to visit this museum to discover the first amazing chef of French cuisine Auguste Escoffier. He is at the origin of the "delicate cuisine".
You can discover invention of Escoffier to facilitate the work of his brigade like stoner... The history of creation of "Pêche Melba" (and you can taste it free after the visit, very good) ! And lot of ustensiles, cooking, etc. And staff is very pleasant!

A short trip from the airport and the Villeneuve village, the amusement park, which actually consists of three different parks, is really worth visiting! I heard nothing but french, no tourists around. Really nicely kept place, the Bois amusement park is full of climbing spots, bouncy Castles, slides and troll sculptures up in trees. Our toddler girl 2 year old loved the slides on the far side of the bridge, toddler friendly with an adult. The bouncy castle was fun! There is a big mound with tunnels in the beginning of the park, our toddler loved it but the tunnels are too small for an adult and it was quite scary to stand and wait for her to find her way out! They had a surprisingly well equipped gift store and a small café where you can get icecream, sweets, coffee etc. Many of the climbing areas needs an adult to accompany if the child is very small, so it requires some physical strength from an adult. The "rides" are marked with different fairy names so you see which ride is suitable for what age and height. Bring sunscreen and caps for the kids. There are picnic tables so you can enjoy your own food there as well. You need a car to access the amusement park area.

Le Village des Fous, Whatizit ? A 2 acres amusement park full of crazy games for children and grown-ups, but also a place of discoveries and curiosity which reserves you funny surprises! A place governed by absurd, where being mad as hatter is an art of living. Flying bathtub, upside down huts, SplashPlage, the Experiencez District and the famous 13 meters high Affil Tower ! If you are lucky enough to get into this funny village, prepare yourself to be dumbfounded!
A very fun park. Although very simple and not highly maintained, we very much enjoyed our day. The maze is very interactive so it's fun for the whole family. Plus, there are a few other activities that are an extra time killer for kids.
Recommended to anyone looking for kids' activities at a low cost.

This park offers different tracks with different levels of difficulty. My son (18) and daughter (14) tried the most difficult one and although sometimes daring they enjoyed it very much. The easier tracks were more accessible, but not less enjoyable.

In the past we have dismissed Marina Baie des Ange but on exploring we really like to go there now. Great place to sit and watch the world go by both on land and in the bay.
Sheltered and lovely, nice beach area, great marina and there was live music being played on the beach when we were there. We ate out in the evening too although sadly i can't recall the name of the restaurant.

Was staying at the caravan site near to here and because we could hear all the toads/frogs ? at night decided to have a look during the day. Five minute walk down the road into a big natural park with lots of trees walks and ponds. Plenty of wildlife to look at including Terrapins in the ponds. Very nice place to visit for an hours peace and quiet in the heat of the day.

I took 4 kids here aged 10-13 and they had an absolute blast. There are 4 zip-lining courses with course 1 the easiest and course 4 the most difficult. Each course takes approx 20 mins to complete. The kids are allowed 4 goes, and they can choose which courses to do, ie one can choose a go on each course, or do 4 goes on the difficult one, or mix and match. The staff speak English and the attendant was very friendly. After the kids finished, she told me if all 4 ask her very nicely, she would let them have an extra go for free - which they duly did! It is quite safe and the attendant goes through a proper demonstration, ensures the harness is worn correctly, and makes sure the kids know what they are doing before they embark. Parents can choose to either go on the course or just walk alongside taking pictures like I did. There were also children younger than 10 on the courses. There is a cafe on site serving a small selection of hot meals, as well as snacks, drinks etc. There was also a Seating area with benches for those wanting to have a picnic/packed lunch. We went on a weekday and it was not at all crowded. I would highly recommend this attraction for a funs, safe, adventurous day out for kids.

My friends live right by here so we often pop by and say hello.
The climb to the top is hard work especially now the summer heat has kicked in but if you go early morning or late afternoon it is bearable.
The view from the top is worth all the effort and then you can enjoy all the calories you've burnt off by tucking into a pizza nearby!
Well worth a visit if you're in the french riviera,
