We saw signs to the winery and thought we would try our luck. Luckily a lovely lady had the time to give us a small tasting of 3 wines and was very knowledgable and interesting. There was no charge for the tasting and we bought a lovely bottle to take home which we did not feel obliged to at all

We went to casa Emma during a tour we were on. We loved the experience, Ilaria was very friendly, informative and hospitable. The wine was good, the setting was spectacular looking over the vineyard and we loved the chance to taste the extra Virgin olive oil and the aged balsamic vinegar as well. We purchased wine, cosmetics creams and balsamic It cost €20 per person for the tasting on top of the purchases which we weren't aware of, but felt we did get generous serves of wine. I do feel it needs to be clearer and drivers on tours do not inform you of the costs. Recommend a visit if there are choices of wineries as it was a better experience than some we have been to.

We went on a Friday , it was definitely busy. Parking is down low near the highway, then a small bus takes visitors up the hill to the winery. There is no shade in the parking lot, so don't leave any wines in the car on a warm day.
We booked the afternoon Bottaia Cru tour, which started out with lunch on the top floor at the restaurant. We tried some Bolgheri wines with lunch, the Cont'ugo and Guado al Tasso. Lunch featured lamb chops and was delicious.
Carlotta was Our tour guide , and she's great. We got a look at the barrel rooms, the fermentation tanks, and the mini museum. Our visit concluded with a tasting in a glass enclosed dining room overlooking the barrel room. We got to taste the Tignanello, the Badia a passagnano gran selezione, and a Brunello.
We really enjoyed our afternoon at this exciting new facility.

The Wine Tour in Sant’Agnese Farm is a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the Tuscan wine tradition and bring back to your home a little piece of Tuscan country. You will taste not only good wine but Balsamic Vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced in Sant’Agnese Farm.
Don't miss this. The lunch was over-the-top delicious and the wine tour was fascinating. The lunch included many Italian favorites and a sampling of the farm's award winner balsamic vinegar and olive oils. The wine tasting was outstanding, some of the best we had on our 2 week tour of Italy. Super friendly family and host.

We were the only couple there when we arrived. Stefano explained how his wine tasting session took place and told us that he simply wanted his guests to enjoy themselves....we certainly did!
The numbers of people grew steadily as the tasting progressed and we really enjoyed each lovely wine whilst listening to the Stefano’s stories that were linked to pieces of art produced by a close family friend.
Good wine, good stories and good art...puts you in a great mood and you simply can’t leave empty handed!

From here, you will fly over the legendary Chianti landscape with its hilltop towns, Castles, Valleys, famous vineyards, and mixed woodlands. A powerful landscape, one of the most civilised rural scenes on earth, cultivated tranquility of olives, vines, and corn. The olives' silver and the many variegated shades of green appear as a veil over elemental majesty and silence. On clear days in the distance you can see Florence to the North and the Apennine mountain range in the background; to the West you can see the Elsa valley, San Gimignano, Certaldo, and Volterra and the sea in the far distance; to the South, Poggibonsi, Colle Val d'Elsa and Siena and Monte Amiata in the distance; to the East the higher Monti del Chianti and mixed oak woodlands.all in a hot air balloon with safety and courtesy, we are a certified company from ENAC (Civil Aviation Auth.)

Montecchio’s Farm is the heart of a property of more than 300 hcts ,in the oldest part of the Chianti Classico area. The Estate is about three hundred hectares large (about 120 acres) of which nearly forty as specialized vineyards, twenty as olive-groves, forty as sow able land.
My husband and I visited this winery as part of an excellent excursion tour via Viator. It was such a beautiful place and the wines were wonderful as well! Arianna was our guide and gave us a rich history on Chianti's as well as the winery itself. We hope to return some day since it was such a wonderful experience!
