Winetasting/winetours are available at 11:00 and 15:00. Booking in advance is required on our website: www.cartizze.com. PDC is the only Wine making farm specialising exclusively in the production of grapes and sparkling wine DOCG Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze. Two versions are produced: "Cartizze DRY" and "Cartizze BRUT". Located in the Cartizze hills, the heart of the PROSECCO SUPERIORE territory, PDC makes it its aim to cultivate vines and make wine following the most natural winemaking practices. Organic BIO cultivation, in the vineyards all processes are carried out by hand, from harvesting to pruning, whilst keeping phytosanitary treatments to a bare minimum.
A really engaging and interesting introduction to the region and prosecco with wonderful wines and foods. Beautiful surroundings, great to see the vineyard and fantastic knowledge of the product and production. 5*. I would recommend this to everyone. Our host was amazing - we could not have asked for more from our experience.

Decided to follow everyone else’s tips and went to San Gregorio. It did not disappoint. We had the nicest lady explain all about the process of making the regions delicious wine Prosecco. Then we had a relaxed and informative wine tasting in the cellar. Beautiful wines and beautiful host who then went on to provide tourist information about the area and tips on what to see and do. She sent us to this beautiful place Osteria senz oste high up in the hills where the views were magnificent. It is a little shack stocked with all sorts of goodies like bread, wine, cheese and salami. It is run on an honesty system and it was a fantastic experience for us. We wouldn’t have found it otherwise. Grazie.

This is the site of a World War 1 Battle Mounte Grappa. Over 128,000 troops died in the battle, French, Italians, English and Austrians who made up 100,000 of the dead. It was the last line of defense on the Italian border from the Austrian and German neighbors. 25,000 remains of Italians and Austrians are buried up there with com reactive plaques for each of them in a mausoleum that sits at the top of the mountain peak. There are some cannons from the battle and a small temple as well as the Milano regiment building. It is 27 kilometers from the base of the mountain outside Bassano del Grappa and is an amazing scenic drive through the little communities scattered through the mountain region. Well worth a visit.

We stopped here during a bike tour in the Treviso area, along the Sile river. We had a good lunch at the restaurant and spent some time walking around. The park is really beautiful and the people who manage it are very enthusiastic and take even care of baby storks. If you happen to be in this area, make a stop, it is really worth doing!

Possagno is the home of the greatest neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova.
Possagno loves their local hero Antonio Canova And this excellent museum does full justice to his outstanding body of work. Lighting was very good and enhanced the statues. Strongly recommended

Passeggiata tradizionale dei trevigiani la domenica mattina. Una breve e tranquilla passeggiata in bicicletta nell'immediata periferia di Treviso in luoghi dalle notevoli valenze naturalistiche e storiche.
Beautiful and peaceful passegiata all along the river Sile. Every season has its own charm. Avoid possibly Sundays because there are a lot of people.

If you are in the nearby you cannot miss a visit to this monastic complex : the Abbey of Santa Maria in Follina which dates back to the 9th century. Between 1146 and 1148, the Benedictine monks were replaced by Cistercians, under whom the monastery reached the height of its power and splendour. The monks still live there today. Great part of the church is made of stones and there is a wonderful cloister from XII century, Through a door you can get access to the south side of the complex known as "chiostrino dell'Abate" (XVI century), with small Gardens and octagonal pools. It is possible to pay a visit to the Abbey every day from 7.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 19.00. You will be surely enthralled by heavenly peace and tranquility of the area surrounding the holy place.

Lot more shops than we expected! High end and individual boutiques. Yes there are small narrow streets and plenty of historic buildings, but overall a shopping centre, although evening works were great looking for quiet bars! Still very Italian and not touristy.
