In Belluno downtown, a little but pretty restaurant with a beautiful Terrace.Nel centro di Belluno, un ristorante piccolo ma carino con una bellissima terrazza.
Beautiful food, excellent service, serene surroundings. One of the best meals I have ever had.? quite expensive but worth every penny. Wish we had found it sooner.

When i got there with Japanese customers we were the first customers, on a cold March Wednesday night.
In half an hour there were about thirty customers, and some more came afterwards.
It might be pricey compared to regular Italian pizzerias, especially those in the area, but the quality of the ingredients, the final taste of the pizza and the smart matching of the beer with each pizza that the owner suggests make up for that, and all in all the price is not that high anyway.
The interior is quite particular, with some good-old-times stuff, and not so easy to forget.

The atmosphere is quite nice, very welcoming and trattoria-like. The staff is ok, though they don't smile easily. Portions are very big, so I would suggest two plates (or, better, pans) every three people. Unless you're very hungry. My all-time favorite pasta is the Carbonara, immediately followed by the Gorgonzola and Walnuts. But you can just pick and choose: they are just magicians with these dishes and will leave you speechless and with your stomachs full. If you like, combine it with some great tasting beer, and your dinner will be complete!

On our way to Venice, we stopped at the province of Belluno to find something to eat. After continuous searching, we finally end up at this 3-michelin star restaurant. The prices were very reasonable judging from the quality of food served. The food was great, every element was done to perfection. The view of the garden from the restaurant was spectacular. Above all, the staff were very friendly to us and did their best in order to satisfy us. I would surely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the province of Belluno, Italy.

The location is really amazing and you'll enjoy at the best eating outside in a sunny day. Anyway if you look for intimacy this is not the best choice especially at the week ends when many people decide on this restautant for celebrations ... I would rather suggest to go with a group of friends. For sure you will enjoy good food in cheerful atmosphere : as to the assortment of cured meats and cheese selection I'd rather go for something more particular considering the area offers unique "homemade" products. The different types of pasta I tried were tasty, the same as vegetables and meat ( the Guinea fowl was simply terrific ! ). Wine selection is good. I have to underline the courtesy both of the staff and the chef who came out of the kitchen to "interview" his customers !

We decided to have a lunch at this place, as it had so many good reviews. Unfortunately, the place was a disappointment. We ordered a steak with fries and parmigiana melanzane from their lunch menu list. We had to wait for a very, very long time! There were three tables next to us and they had their first and second courses, desserts and bills before we even had our bowl of fries (supposed to be a side dish) in front of us! That was very rude and bad service! We were sitting there in the middle like stupid tourists while everybody else were getting served. Usually I open my mouth, but now I wanted to see just how long does it take before we get food to our table. It took around 50 minutes. I would understand that, if it was busy and everybody had to wait. This time it was only us, who had to wait. The food itself was good, but the service made it worse. Maybe they were afraid to serve “foreign” customers or something, but that wasn’t nice at all. When we payed to the cashier, we told about our “service experience”. The cashier (the same man who brought our food to the table) was obnoxious and even laughing with another waiter - but wanted still to offer us digestive drinks. Didn’t say that they are sorry. Maybe they think they don’t need to serve all the customers the same way. That is a fatal thought.

Typical Italian trattoria in downtown Belluno : an old small restaurant wisely refurbished by keeping the original and vintage appeal revised in modern style. Just a few tables ( this is one of the reason why an advance reservation is recommended ) dipped in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Why "MasterChef" ? Pay a visit and you'll discover yourself ! Be sure that what you see on TV is simply fake cooking ... here you'll understand what culinary art means as the expression of gastronomic heritage which makes part of the Italian national identity. First prioirty is the selective choice of the ingredients along with their genuineness, followed by the absolute lightness of dishes cooked in almost total absence of fats. As a matter of fact you can overeating and I can assure that the digestion will be perfect and the day after your stomach will be of an unexpected lightness. All you find in the menu is just healty food and the offer of dishes changes quite often. Desserts deserve a special mention : they are unique ! Just give a try. The trattoria offers a discreet selection of wines. If you come before lunch you can indulge in an aperitif accompanied by a daily selection of Venetian-style cicchetti ( small snacks ). Service is friendly and professional; finally ... excellent food at extremely fair prices.

A place a little bit out of reach but settled in a beautiful mountain location with a breathtaking view. A small rustic restaurant ( a real "locanda" with a few tables ) welcomes you in a warm friendly atmosphere. Excellent research of specific ingredients to be assembled in the research of unique dishes. Everything we saw in the menu was much than inviting so that we tried to order different dishes that we could share afterwards. All very tasty : starters, main courses, second dishes and desserts too. Excellent the deer besides the "mattarello" = grilled beef wrapped around a rolling pin ! We left our e-mail address in order to be updated for future "special" dinner. Good & professional service; prices in line with the offer. Take note that the "locanda" is open only at the week end ( or upon request ). We'll be definitely back !

We visited this restaurant while the rain poured down in the city. We could not have happier with our lucky coincidence! Everything we ordered was delicious and creative. They also have free wifi for their guests and no password required. If you are looking for a typical but unique style restaurant, this is the place to be.

WE had a very nice meal here. It was pricey but I think competitive for the quality of the food. Service was a little slow. They brought some delicious cookies at the end of our meal. Also they were flexible in dividing the check among a fairly large group.
