Great cinema, but take a jacket or something as it is quite cool. Security at the front may take bottled drinks away from you, as you are supposed to only take in food and drinks you can buy at the counter.
Rest of the mall has a array of restaurants, large supermarket with many western luxuries, and some household/electronic shops. Nicely airconditioned too.

This rather new mosque is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. We went up to the top of the observation tower (not really a minaret). The view from the 9th floor was better than from the top 13th floor, due to windows and some obscuring decorative detail on the top level. We were then asked to don full length robes (provided for free) in order to enter the mosque. A very friendly young man led us to the balcony level (apparently used by women during prayers) for a great view of thee prayer area below (capacity 5000 males) and the gorgeous ceiling decoration. A must-do if ine or near Mataram. Right across the street from the immigration office, if you're having to do some visa business anyway.

It's fun to travel to Lombok with easy, comfortable with reliable and genuine services provided. Come and enjoy an unforgettable experiences during your holiday in Lombok.
Spent a day on this Gili as it was the LebaranTopat festival in Lombok on 2 July 2017.
Didn't make prior arrangements as not aware of the festive going on the weekend we are in Lombok for the first time.
Some travel sites with good reviews were not keen to do any trips on this weekend.
The resort we were staying in also could not make arrangement for us on such short notice.
Fortunately , we chanced upon Lombok Fun Travel.
Not only we arranged a private tour, but we had a most wonderful time with Mr.Rivaan.
In short, he was most accomodative , speaks very good English, and gave us his utmost attention.
Took underwater photos for us with his camera.
We were very happy with his service.
Best value for service.

I can't believe why this complex is not as famous as any other tourist sites in Indonesia.
It's basically a royal park complex, with a small Hindu shrine on top of the hill, a small lake and probably a bathing pool in the centre. There's a swimming pool also, that's barely enjoyable. Hold your swimming desire, there is another interesting uncommon site near this park where you can enjoy a relaxing small cold mountain water, called Suranadi Pool / Kolam Suranadi.
The park complex was said to copy the geographical landscape of Lombok. The old king could not mount the Mt. Rinjani to perform his ritual obligation, so he made this park to mimic the geographical landscape, so he could perform the ritual in this park instead of climbing that very high mountain.
Caution, the heat in this area (like most part of Lombok) can be scorching hot.
The complex is not a fully developed tourist site, there's no decent food stall / resto here, so be prepared with your drinking water if needed.
I think people are too concentrated on the Beaches in Lombok, and forget other interesting sites that holds meaningful cultural and historical values.

Batu Payung it is mean that Stone look like umbrella. This object located in Tanjung Aan beach. If you wish to visit this palce there are two acces 1. charter the outrigger boat from Tanjung Aan for return with budget 250.00/6pax, But this is not net price. You may bargain to the boatman. 2. By on foot. Parking your's motorbike in Tanjung Aan parking area and directly walk on side of the Beaches there then climb to the small hill. Just select the left side of the hill cause this more easy and safety. If you stay round kuta Lombok it is about 30 minute with motorbike and don not forget to bring some water or snack to keep your energy cause there is no seller in Batu Payung. The only that you will find just some local people sell fresh coconut it price Rp.15.000.

After disappointing experienced with museums in Jakarta and Yogyakarta wasn't expecting much from my visit to this museum, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little small and it covers everything from the geology of Lombok to weaving under one roof but it was mostly presented nicely (there were some exhibits without any signboards) and maintained (aka dusted) properly.
Was a bit disappointed that the jewellery exhibition (I think) was shut but was glad to have made the stop at the museum irregardless. Definitely worth a visit, especially for just 5000 rupiah!

This the most unique temple in Indonesia. The only temple that belong to two different religions; Hindu and Muslim. This is probably one of the strongest symbols of a great relationship between Islam and Hindu in Lombok.
Best time to visit this temple is during Maulid, where you can watch an interesting cultural event called Perang Ketupat (Ketupat War) or locally known as perang topat. Not a real war tho. It was just a fun fight, yet it is actually a symbol of peace between the two religions; Islam and Hindu in Lombok. In this war, the attendances are grouped in to two based on their religion, before the war started, there will be first some ceremonies and praying leads by the Head of each groups. The highlight of this event is people from both groups will throw each others using Ketupat ( A diamond-shaped rice cake made of young coconut leaves). Also you'll find lots of cultural custome parade and a showcase of Lombok's cultures.
